greenwich has a lyric which still confuses fans to this day... "diamond horseshoe wedding ring and the...?" i feel like she's saying "tile aisle", if she really is saying "tile aisle", i feel like she could be talking about walking down the aisle (which would make sense since she mentions a wedding ring) maybe the venue or building has tiles on the walls or the floor? i just think it's a stretch to say she's saying "tiara" but it's still hard to tell for certain, maybe we'll finally put this mystery to rest when greenwich acid leaks....

It's kinda giving if someone asked Taylor Swift to write a Lana Del Rey song but IDWG outsold I fear 

the "aarons dead and not me" line hit very hard for me on my latest listen.. it sounds like its a statement directly to her mom. maybe my edibles just hitting.
 

There's so much she's saying in this song - the anecdotes act as metaphors too and i love how they're all wrapped up in the concept of "Kintsugi"... for example during my first listen when she was belting out the "I don't know anyone left who knows songs that I sing" lyric from that entire verse about her relatives, i immediately realized she's saying that not feeling alone is a way for the light to get in. I adore this song I think it's my favorite one from the album and it's up there with my favorite songs ever 

This song is so haunting and the lyrics are so vague because of all metaphors
she’s using and as well as some references yet to be connected.

Hi guys and girlies!
I've decided to share with you some LDR concept albums I've come up with, chosing tracks (released or unreleased) from Lana's repertoire.
If you like this idea, please feel free to share your own concept albums, I'm very curious 
I'm going to start with this one, since I already have a cover and the backcover done:
 


 
So, the theme behind this one is pretty obvious: the escape to California in search of a better life 
I've tried to add songs from each album like they're telling a story: from her arrival to the Golden State (FIILY), to her wanting her man there (Freak), the disillusion about what's seems to be the Garden of Eden but in reality is the Garden of Evil (Gods & Monsters), the melancholy of her reminiscing the time with her man (California & VB) till the last songs in which she questions her happiness in that place... I was aiming to an overall summery feeling, and I think it's pretty well balanced!
I've even turned this into a Spotify playlist that I listen to regularly.

Been super inspired by this era lately, I feel like it’s a perfect culmination and centre-point of Lana’s earlier catalogue and Lana’s more recent  albums — truly a self-fulfilling prophecy that she’d centre that album around “timelessness” and it would go on to become an album that is inherently irrespective of time. I love your curation of songs and visuals, as always <3 

I love it! The Violet—Chemtrails—Blue Banisters pipeline has always been so intriguing to me and really was nice to experience in spite of a pandemic, all three projects mean so much to me so I love how you’ve sequenced them! I also love this Chemtrails photoshoot, it’s my fav 

After this I'll probably be way less active in this thread for my own reasons, but here's a concept album idea I came up with today. A mix of Violet, Chemtrails and Blue Banisters - Wildflower Wildfire
 

 
 
 
Out of all of the concept album's I've put together, I'd say this one is my favorite. I love the way each song flows into the next (my favorite transition is WHWILY to Text Book to Yosemite) and I'm super happy with it. I hope you like it too <3

I've been working on the tracklisting for this one for months  But since there's been discussion about this lately and I've seen a few users share what their thoughts on a could've-been LFL, here's my "what Lust for Life could've been if BAR had never leaked and if it was released in early 2017 instead of July". I wasn't able to get everyone's users down, but thanks to so many of you for the inspiration! 
 

 

 
Note: the version of the LFL demo being used is the first one, and it kind of goes without saying that the version of TNBAR being used is the demo. Also, I know the cover art picture is from the LFL video with Abel, but for the sake of this, we'll just pretend it was a fun shoot they did with Neil
