so i added the video from idk if i'm awake anymore as an intro before tyh and it's cool

i actually really love how it flows, can't wait until people receive their vinyls so 10/10 is available it's the only song i'm missing since i've found the easy writing session audio (and i downloaded the tyh acoustic version since i've seen it is a bonus in the target edition)

After taking some more time to listen to this over the last week, I have to say that I went from liking to loving Club Future Nostalgia. I'm still not the biggest fan of the first couple remixes (or well, mostly just the Pretty Please ones) , but everything from the Horse Meat Disco Remix of Love Again onwards is brilliant. I'm so glad they made it a continuous mix, it makes it much more fun to listen to than a regular remix album with separate remixes. Now if only clubs would finally reopen and do Club Future Nostalgia nights...

The more albums that get released in 2020, the more it becomes clearer that Taylor is truly at the top of her game. She's miles ahead of everyone else sonically and lyrical--and tbh i think its because of her close relationship with her fans. She doesn't really write about her own celebrity-world troubles in her music, she writes them from the perspective of her average teenage fans, who share stories with her and she listens; and that's what makes her music so universally relatable. Not many of us can relate to living for cheering crowds, or overcoming the confusing world of celebrity--but we can all relate to love triangles, high school drama, drifting apart from our childhood friends, etc. etc. And that's why all her music has always been "folklore", bc it captures the common feelings of a group/subculture, and not just Taylor herself

on the other hand, scooter is karlie's manager and yeah she's married to a kushner so she's now related to the trump family via her husband, that's sad tho i still wonder what happened between her and taylor (besides their breakup ofc), they started to grow up apart around the rep era even though karlie still went to some concerts

I know he hates the production of it, and rightfully so, but Touch's pre-chorus is still a fave for me lmao Fun is also an underrated bop. Glad he's grown a lot more from this project, though.

I’m currently watching the credits of Miss Americana and shaking and crying like a baby this doc changed my life she deserves all the credit in the world I love her so hard. What a beautiful gorgeous insanely talented and smart woman love her so much

omg i didn't know about that...but listening to reputation and now folklore and connecting the dots betwern karlie n taylor is so fun. that woman is 100% bi there is no way she's just straight
