nicole godland posted an old bts scene of a lana photoshoot and changed her profile pic on insta to A PICTURE OF CHEMTRAILS

the most iconic part of any era! the fact that i once applied for a job at hmv twice and got rejected both times, now i just email them annually asking for lana albums...

I'm going to e-mail HMV customer service maybe next month and check if they have COCC in stock. They've responded twice before in the past but idk if the circumstances will be different and there is a delay with the reply due to covid but who knows

I would be so happy if she just would post a picture of chemtrails with the caption 'Looking forward to September'

about a week ago she said lana would announce something on the 17th but who honestly knows

Yeah she never did give a solid timeframe for NFR, and even said she has no clue when it’s coming out.
 
With COCC she straight up said it’s coming out September fifth, which makes me think it’s already turned in, locked and loaded, and prepared to drop.

i have no problem with a surprise drop on sept 5th and its definitely a possibility. but the only concern with that is then we truly have no idea up until that date if the album has been delayed or not...
but i assume if it was set for a sept 5th release, we would be getting some form of information leak in august if she does plan to remain silent for the pre-release.
so ladies if it hits august 31st, she gives us 0 info and nothing has leaked. shit aint coming

As you all know, I am a “believer” of the Sept 4-5 release, though it could still be changed for whatever reasons. However, if there is no proof whatsoever before August of its release, I’ll consider the project postponed until further notice (which I’d fucking hate).

When LDR announced 'White Hot Forever,' she said she might just drop it without any promotional build-up. And that was before the pandemic.

A lot of cultural products of all kinds that were planned for March-April 2020 were actually released, but their promotional legs cancelled--like Tori Amos's book tour to support her new volume.
 
The pandemic and the confused response to it will very likely still be with us in two months, so LDR may continue on as planned and drop COCC on September 5th, or Interscope and/or other forces may convince her that we're still in a cultural 'dead zone' and September 5th will mean suicide for the project. 
 
The latter is not true; look how well Bob Dylan's 'Rough & Rowdy Ways' is doing. People need music now more than ever, as many are home-bound and bored to death.

Maybe they’ve just updated their website servers now so it doesn’t need to go into “maintenance” before every era. Doesn’t it usually update once we either get a new single or when she announces the cover / tracklist anyway ? It wouldn’t make sense to update it first

even her website Is Still NFR area (last year her website was under maintenance)

It’s true that we have heard nothing yet of it at this point. But there’s the “surprise release” factor - and her definition of it - that could change the rollout and make it different from HM.

not people getting mad over someone using a forum for its intended purposes what............. anyways can she release the after school EP fire drill is good but i'm kinda over it

My main gripe with her years ago was that she came across really insufferable and pretentious, and it sounded like she was always doing some weird affectation on her vocals, but Bad at Love completely turned it around for me and Manic is still one of my favorite albums this year.
