i feel like “americana” should be such a fun & easy theme… like why wouldn’t you go along with the theme? you have all the money in the world to have exactly what you want custom-made yet you show up in a basic gown or something which doesn’t fit the theme at all

THIS. I strongly believe that childhood isn't the only crucial stage to development. Whatever you're interested in between ages 12-14 is also HIGHLY important to who you become as an adult. So for me, at that age as I was dealing with a troublesome home-life and coming to terms with my sexuality and also dealing with my first breakup...all I had was Lana. 
And sure, maybe it's not fair of us to ask that of her. To be the crutch when we're in too much pain to walk. But this shit hurts man. It's worrying. The possibility of not having that connection between her and the fan base. 
Idk just my thoughts. 

I will speak for myself on this but..
 
Lana's presence and art has literally saved my life. I cant even begin to explain to you the pain and darkness i've gone through and how having her music and seeing her made it so much more bearable. I know it seems silly, but for people who don't have a lot emotionally, she is the thing we look forward to to keep us going. The extremely sudden absence leaves an empty spot for me. It was the one thing i had to feel connected to her. It may be different for you, but please at least understand and allow people to react the way they need to. This forum is pretty much the only thing we have to be able to connect with each other about someone we all love so deeply. 

I'm hoping that we get at least one interview during the BB era. It's not completely unrealistic (we got a few during Chemtrails). It'd just be nice to hear from her that way. I'm trying to think of this objectively and remember that before the late 2000s-early 2010s, most artists weren't on social media. RIP Instagram user @/lanadelrey

we're gonna miss feeling closer to her, let people feel sad if they feel sad, looking back at old instagram posts was so bittersweet, we'll miss her selfies, her photoshoots, her random videos, announcements, etc. also i don't get the lorde comparisons, this isn't about lorde, this is lanaboards, not lordeboards

so how will she announce anything? will her management do it for her? will everything be a complete surprise? (besides anything from insiders)

This is very dramatic of me to say but it's kinda bittersweet now that the album comes a day before my birthday. Now instead of celebrating I feel like I'm gonna be grieving

I am streaming HTD now and feel like dying, I loved the fact that we can always look forward to her next random insta post, laugh, speculate and discuss them together and now.. it's gone

this is a great example of "no matter what she does, somebody will always criticize her"

it actually fucking sucks that it feels like she was def made to leave social media bc of how horrible the public's perception of her has been n how that's undoubtedly affected her. i think that's what's most saddening - if she wanted to leave social media just to vibe out like lorde did i feel like none of us would feel like this
