You know what?  I hate whining but this site has opened me up to the art of being a whiny fan so why hold it in...? 
 
If I'm being totally honest,  I AM worried about Lana losing her deep mysterious vibe that drew me into her music. I DO believe that she may have missed her perfect opportunity to define her sound and place more by letting go of the Ultraviolence and Honeymoon style production. In my dreams I still imagine her perfect magnum opus of an album that is somewhere linking the psychedelic,  jazz,  rock of UV with the modern folk hippie of LFL, the dreamy depths of Honeymoon and the daring lyrics of BTD/PD.
I wish I didn't care,  but I do. Ban me if you wish  
 
 
p. s. Maybe I'm only worrying bc I just had 3 coffees and haven't had any in a whole week and it's making me weird

lol imagine being able to pick a favorite out of the hundreds of songs lana has recorded-- I definitely couldn't there are too many good ones

I hate that she smokes, but yeah, I agree that she makes it look really glamorous 
 
Growing up, there were always adults and commercials and whatnot saying "smoking only LOOKS cool, but it's NOT!" I always thought that it was dumb, because I'd never found smoking attractive and didn't understand how it could make someone look cool, especially since it's so bad for you. But then I saw Lana smoke and, well...

Ok so here’s what I’ve been thinking. Ever since the Me too movement, any person accused of sexual assault or rape gets kicked out of their jobs, labels, movie studios, offices etc etc and those companies/jobs put out a statement. The fact that Melanie’s management team and record label have not said a single word must mean that she never did anything right?? Why would they sacrifice their reputation by keeping silent and keeping her on their label when they have ton loads of other singers to make money off and they can just boot her off and be over it??
 
Unless I’m slow and both Atlantic and her manager have said something already
