  1. https://www.instagram.com/p/CuNWTqNPuM6/?igshid=YzcxN2Q2NzY0OA== From Rob
  2. I find it funny that some of y’all think she remembers lyrics from aka and let alone perform some songs from it live
  3. Rob’s picture of Lana performing Candy Necklace is so cute https://www.instagram.com/p/CuNWTqNPuM6/?igshid=YzcxN2Q2NzY0OA==
  4. And watch it début tonight, with no livestream and we’ll get like a shitty 15-second recording or something in two days
  5. Lol watching this thread go crazy might be more entertaining than the real show
  6. I’ve also heard it could be a mashup of National Anthem and Bittersweet Symphony… The only thing that gives me « hope » (in the broadest sense of the word) that it could be a real song is that she mentioned it on stage, early on in the festival tour, when she was running late (« We’ll skip Bittersweet »). If it was a new National Anthem mix or Sweet, it’d be weird to call it otherwise unless it’s really different from the released version.
  7. At this point, I just wanna know what Bittersweet Anthem is about
  8. In no way am I a new fan, and I loved reading your input on it (some lyrics might have been not very « 21st century feminism » or that the newer uploaded versions on TB or SoundCloud are sped up or cheap-sounding). I like aka although it probably is my least favourite album from Lana, even if there are gems on it. to me, aka is her first attempt at the « LDR sound » and it’s not as baked or completed as BTD and her other albums. It lacks the grandeur, the majesty, the « world-building » she brought on from BTD to HM, where each album had its own distinct sound and atmosphere. Heck, it’s got Oh Say Can You See and Brite Lights on the same album (I know that we could say the same thing about OB or LFL, but those two were albums where she stepped out of that « world-building » mindset, as opposed to her first LDR-Interscope LPs) that being said, it has its merits: it’s minimalistic and very « trailer-park » youth kitsch.
  9. Well it’s about leaks, unreleased and demos. In a way, it could be about you
  10. One thing is for sure though: I kinda pity if a fan always prefers demos or what was left on the cutting room floor to the released songs of an album, they’ll always be deceived
  11. Kinda have to agree with this thread. I don’t know it it’s a syndrome, if there are any psychological reasons to it (I’m calling many unreleased songs « the one that got away »). I never find a demo superior to the officially released song except for Pink Champagne (I won’t repeat myself again, I discussed it at length in its own thread). Other demos can bring something new and unexpected but they really rarely are better, to me, than their official version (what can I say? I just love finished songs ). as for unreleased songs that got tossed away… UV era had many songs that were very good or excellent that didn’t make the Final Cut, but the album works best and tells the best story the way it was told, with the songs of the final track list. As for the many comments « She should have included that one on the album and it could have replaced X song », it might have to do with the excitement of something new from an era we loved so much. The excitement tends to fade away though.
  12. I was hoping for it too, but reading the info that @hotshot2am gave us, tracks 4-6-7 seem to be the singles (at least, at the moment).
  13. Wow she is on 🔥 another show before Hyde Park?!
  14. Venice Bitch for sure. Ocean Blvd would be a close second I think.
  15. I have yet to watch episode 4 tonight, but it’s honestly as awful as the Cannes festival critics said it was. it’s overly sexual without much purpose TBH. Lily Rose Depp’s character name is honestly hysterical in French: Jocelyn is a popular name in 60+ year old grannies; the Weeknd can’t act to save his life, plus he has that dreadfully ugly rat tail that Celine Dion’s feu husband had in the 90s. The only plus side to this mess is the music and the fact that it depicts how domestic violence and abuse can settle in in a relationship. Im still on the fence about continuing watching it; it’s similar to watching a train wreck I guess.
  16. Alright, better start working on that hair now!!! I want to finally know what Bittersweet Anthem is about
  17. Pink Champagne’s verses: in the first, she wants to leave America because it got hard to stay sober but in the second, she wants the tour to be over and she misses America Fine China’s chorus is heartbreaking
  18. I have no idea if it is the case, but Is it possible that they allowed it in the last but had to pay fines for it? Or were reprimanded and had to play by the book this time? anyways, it’s a shame because she sounded incredible tonight. NGL though, Video Games sung by the crowd gave me chills.
  19. About that user that fuels rage in everyone… you can ignore their posts, by selecting that option in your settings. you might not be able to ignore them completely (when people reply to them, you can still see their initial post), but you’ll be able to avoid WP from the mods because of a nasty reply that would be understandable. The ignore option was an investment in my mental health on this forum
