What really sucks is the same people who complained will now go to Twitter and want her to perform there. (Not @@I Come In Peace, not you, I’m so sorry your show was cancelled. Keep your mind positive and you’ll bring her positivity there.) it really sucks when people make plans to see someone sing or perform and they end up cancelling. Imagine if you had an interview with a huge job opportunity and then the interviewer said “Nah my employees don’t want me to interview you, sorry don’t come in.”
Thankfully, it doesn’t seem like anyone actually changed her mind but her schedule, and if anything, she was giving a middle finger to everyone trying to tell her how to run her business. Very feministic move on her part, given that most that were bitching were men hahahahaha

This is why I thought she should have performed there. Western countries only care about themselves. I'm sorry you can't see her :/

I love how EVERYONE in here is so happy that she canceled a show in a country they have no connection to, it amazes me.
My parents bought me the ticket for the festival as (my only) birthday gift & I was so excited and thrilled to watch her perform like some of you did, as Lana and her music were so close to me and helped me in all of my high school experience, in good moments & bad moments. She gives me so much inspiration in many aspects of my life & helped me so much. I'm broken right now that she canceled & even more broken about how people that I love here on Lanaboards are so passionate about Lana not performing in a certain country knowing she got lots of fans here who love her (and no we're not terrorists, honestly most Lana fans are left winged and want peace).

I mean is she going crazy or what? Of course if you meet Lana you’re gonna snap a picture, what’s wrong with that? I mean she’s a public figure and photos of her (sadly) get released by fans or paparazzi without her given permission but this ain’t news. Rick isn’t bad. I think she needs to work with more producers and let other people play with her music too. It’d be cool to hear another Dan Auerbach x Lana. Kid Cudi would be a cool producer for her to work with, he makes such weird/different music. Lil Silva would actually be really cool too. Just anyone but Dr Luke and I don’t think she’d ever do that because he’s too generic and everything he makes sounds so much alike it’s almost like everything he’s made is the same song over and over. Honestly I’d like to hear what her band could come up with without Rick or Dan or Emile or anyone. Just playing around on their instruments.

No what I want is the UV guitars with her Lizzy high voice. THAT WOULD BE THE DEATH OF ME.

I want her next one to be something that uses more of those high airy vocals. I love that sound in her Lizzy songs

I really love these two and would love to hear a dark track from them both but idk what theme Marina’s record will be or what Lana’s working on so a collab could be on either one at this point. I think Marina said hers was done but maybe Lana wants her on her album? It’d be cool; she collabed with Stevie which I never expected to actually happen and Sean, John’s son, was what I never knew I wanted but loved hearing because it sounded so similar to John and as close to a Beatles collab she could probably get without Paul

What would you want the Lana & Marina collab to sound like? I think a song like Marina's Power & Control would sound amazing with them both.
