exactly, like if you get the chance to do something fun and cute for a tenth anniversary of a very loved and cherished album you should probably do it well
 
she is ALWAYS talking about releasing unreleased songs, this was the perfect opportunity to do that!! so why didn’t she!!!!!!
 
it’s not like she would have to record anything new or whatever. so many great demos from that era exist - get the clearance from producers/writers, slap them on an exclusive record of demos, and call it a day. and the photoshoots from that album are one of the most iconic of any album ever, do something with em.

and second of all despite what it may seem like i actually wanna like her... and I don't hate this, it's better to have every officially-released song of EH in one place than nothing.
 
it's just that IDK- like she could've done so much more and truly given us a great anniversary gift (I mean, "gift"... it's not free) like florence did, a whole boxset, pictures, posters, outtakes, etc.
 

This is what makes me angry the most. 
 
Why creating hype for a 10th anniversary release? Why call it the platinum blonde edition if at the end you are just adding two songs that should have been added long ago and that most of the fans already have? 
 
Sure it's nice to have all those songs in one album, but creating too much hype for nothing is plain mean.

this would’ve been a cute moment if she just put those 2 songs on the deluxe edition on streaming without making it a whole Platinum Blonde Edition moment  It’s 2 songs that have been out for years like this really isn’t giving what a whole new anniversary edition of an album should be giving bdjdjfj

but out of the entire (and may i say ICONIC) casper balslev album/other photoshoots they did.. they still stick with the original cover.. same with the deluxe  
the album photoshoots deserve much better!!!

the way it’s just not that deep idk why people care when artists change titles of songs on yt/streaming (the girlies had a MELTDOWN when charli changed unlock it to unlock it [lock it])
 
like…? it doesn’t change the art at all lol it just makes the song easier to find for tiktok stans, doesn’t effect literally anything else

It's true there could've been more done to it, but it's not terrible... or did the previous remixes set the bar too low so this feels like a step up from them?

The single covers were great, I love that there was actually.. ya know.. color in them, they made listening to superstar and orange trees more exciting to me. shame i have to look at the album art instead

I feel like the collab remixes would have been a great idea had it been executed better. A remix EP called Mystical Bitches with other female singers-producers would have slapped so hard tho
Like Arca, Kali Uchis, Mitski, Rina Sawayama, Kilo Kish, Caroline Polachek, St. Vincent, Allie X & Grimes could all have done really great remixes

She was following Lana on Instagram and Twitter and as soon as the "Culture" thing happened, she unfollowed Lana. I saw it myself as well as tons of other fans, so yes there's actual proof. lol
