I don't edit audio often as I usually can't get a good result so I just don't bother. But I was actually really happy with this one so I shared it. It really helped that the vocals in the two versions match up pretty much perfectly. Made editing it a LOT easier. And thank you! 

I edit audio all the time for personal use, and am very aware of how much work it can take to perfectly blend and match vocals with soundtracks and stitch it all seamlessly etc. You did a phenomenal job! Thank you bunches for sharing ♡♡♡

Hey everyone! The recent leaking of LIB really made my week, as I'm sure it did for many of you as well. It was so great to finally hear it in its entirety and for me it definitely didn't disappoint. That being said, I have listened to the fanmade version I've had in my iTunes so many times now that the song's structure felt off to me. Essentially the version I was using had, what we now know as the bridge as the chorus. I don't really like how the chorus is just one line repeated twice. So I decided to try my hand at splicing together a version with the bridge used twice as a chorus and then the song ending as it does. I also wanted to utilize both versions that leaked. So essentially my "rework" goes like this:
 
Verse 1 (2015 ver.) --> Prechorus (Alt ver.) --> Bridge --> Verse 2 (2015 ver.) --> Prechorus (Alt ver.) --> Bridge + Outro (2015 ver.)
 
 
I'm not great at audio editing. I don't do it often and all I had to do this was garageband. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out though and don't think any of the transitions are too jarring. So, I figured I'd share it with the community. Go easy on me haha!

It will be the mobile version on Safari/Chrome - because LanaBoards exists through a forum template (Invision Community) rather than its own forum built from scratch, I don't believe it is possible to make an app. I may be incorrect here, but I have looked into it before and concluded that building an app was not possible. However, I have high hopes for the new mobile design!

Just a note for you all, it's looking like there's a likely chance these updates may run through into tomorrow as well. I apologise! I was planning on having everything done by today, but with all these unexpected bumps in the road due to LanaBoards being sooo outdated, it's been taking longer than expected to prepare & update to the newest version. I'm still hoping there's a chance we can have it done before it's sleepytime for Melly & me, but if not, I will certainly update you all and we'll be back to work tomorrow morning. I'll continue to keep you posted!

Hi all!
 
We just completed Phase 1 of our updates. This was all behind-the-scenes stuff that will ensure a much smoother process to the big site update and server upgrade, so you all won’t notice any physical changes yet, but they’re coming! Because the site is so outdated, there’s a lot of bumps in the road we’re having to get by, so I apologise for the time this is taking.
 
We’ll have a waiting period before we’re ready and able to start Phase 2, so I decided to put the site back online until that’s ready to begin. I want to give you all as much time online as possible!
 
I’ll notify you all before we go offline again for Phase 2. (I apologise for not giving you all more of an immediate update on the boards before we went offline when Phase 1 started, I didn’t realise it was going to go offline so suddenly )
 
I’ve been posting these updates to the LanaBoards Twitter, so again if you haven’t followed it, I would recommend doing so to stay in-the-know during this process.

LanaBoards was there for me when I felt down and high, and I’ve found some people I consider to be my best friends here. I love this website.

I don't usually have dreams about Lana, but I took a nap today and had one. I was watching this video of her singing Video Games, but there was a children's chorus that did these little "ah ah ah" sounds and there was a new part added before the intro that was more grand. and it was literally so beautiful that I began SOBBING. like cries racking my body and me just shaking and about to faint. that's how spiritual of an experience I was having. I watched it again and again and had the same reaction each time. I can compare the intensity of the crying in the dream to the sobbing I would do at the psych hospital, where I would beg them to let me kill myself. it was just that intense in my dream. I was emotionally overloaded. The rest of the dream changed course and became embarrassingly sexual lmao, but that part of the dream didn't involve Lana. but wow, that had been her best performance, I very much wish she actually performed that beautifully. 
 
I had watch and posted on a status update a youth choir performing Brooklyn Baby so that's probably where the children's singing in the dream came from. I was singing Video Games yesterday and it sounded good so maybe that's where that came from.
