I actually really like K-12, the only songs I don’t put on are Teachers Pet, Drama Club and The Principal but even then I still sing along when they come on. I think lyrically the worst song is Class Fight but it’s a cute in-the-car kinda song. My fave is Detention followed by Orange Juice. Let’s be real though she’s a somewhat popular singer, I see her fame level being a couple above Marina, and she makes interesting topical music. Through CB and K-12 she talks about toxic family relationships, rape culture, drug abuse, bulimia, men’s abuse of power, Trump, bullying, self harm, domestic abuse and identifying fake friends and more. She addresses all of these things and delivers them as pure BOPS. Like...she’s fucking sick, whether you enjoy the music or not you gotta admit that’s impressive and SO fucking important.

exatctly!!! that's what i love about it, and it makes me admire jkr soo much, it's unbelievable how this whole thing fit in her mind. like there are half sentences and little mentions hidden all over the books that don't seem too relevant at that moment but a few books later become really important, (eg. like Snape being a legilimens, she mentions in sc that Harry sometimes have a feeling that Snape can read his mind and in ootp it turns out to be true) and the books are full of stuff like these and i love them, it's like discovering a little hidden gem while re-reading the books.

I've been randomly watching the films again but also reading along as well this time (I'm pretty wack  ) and I must say that I'm incredibly impressed by the intricacy of the story. Like damn, someone really imagined an entire other universe in their mind. I love it a lot! It's just Ginny that I have a hard time liking (something about her personality just doesn't do it for me) but otherwise, I find nearly every character to be fascinating in their own way.

Vampire Knight, InuYasha (I hope you liked it!!), Nana, Sailor Moon, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and Terror in Resonance are my precious favourites 
Other ones like Elfen Lied, Kimi ni Todoke and Fullmetal Alchemist also give me life

Okay, updated feelings! I was honestly expecting more from this era considering the wait, something way more hipster (like reflecting her new look with the 70's vibes and glasses and stuff) dark, and more mature. The visuals are beautiful in the movie but the movie is ehhh, but I wasn't really expecting much from the movie anyways. The music (expect a select few) falls very flat for me, nothing made me go "OMG!!" like i was expecting. Cry Baby is so iconic and everything feels so different with that album compared to this one, BUT thats probably because I was so much younger when it came out and I thought her concept was so awesome, edgy, and new! I almost feel like I'm too old to be listening to it now? Kinda just bland for me at this point, still enjoying listening sometimes though!

yeah also it was no fun because we already knew what half the songs were going to sound like minus 2/3 songs

she's mentioned in an interview (i can't remember which one unfortunately) that she's tried therapy once but it wasn't for her, so she stopped going, though it might not be the truth, who knows with her. but i think writing is the best therapy for her.

After she lost to 30STM I wouldn't be surprised if she loses to 21P  but voting anyway

the album slaps but i wish they had chosen a still from the teaser as the artwork, like the pink hand with lightning striking behind it kind of like the lq screenshots I put in the spoiler. would have made so much sense to use an elevated version of the vol 1 artwork to complete this project. the green makes the choice of the pink nails feel so arbitrary and less iconique. especially with those pink shadows still on the hand
