LFL is one of my favorite albums lmao. Just not interested in snippets if the songs aren't coming out anytime soon. 

It would be AMAZING but it's Lana so I doubt that tbh. She'll mix these two "sides" of the album together in the tracklist. I just hope it's cohesive

lana: teases a song in which she's almost crying and singing one of her most heartbreaking lines ever -- 'you dont ever have to be stronger than you really are', telling whoever she's singing about that it's okay to be weak, going against the common positive advice and mindset that one has to be stronger

I dreamt nfr came out and was 95% piano 'ballads' and cinnamon was less than 3 minutes long. Now I'm worried cinnamon will go the same way as white mustang lol cos that was a great song when she was teasing it and then it turned out to be nothing more than the snippets and yeah here we are now

When she said this record would very calm with no bangers, I thought we would be getting a record in the vein of MAC/How to Disappear/IYC snippets, not piano ballads.....

hope has always sounded/felt really draining to me so i don't listen to it very much and like i don't mind piano but what she's been doing sounds so lethargic like .... how do mac and vb fit into all of this maybe she's starting off the record in this depressed state and then it propels forward w hope (NOT the song), recovery, personal strength, determination nd self-assuredness like ending w mac, so vb could be in the middle somewhere or towards the end where she's being nostalgic but not lamenting so it's moving on? like her just being thankful she has those memories to go back to in the first place but not being mad at the person anymore because she's over it and somewhat distanced now so she has perspective or closure or something. idk i'm just rambling but i'll need some sense of resolution otherwise idk how often i could listen to this record in full :/

Ok this needs to happen.

Some of us just aren’t a fan of the stylistic change in the music.
To me, Fine China is miles ahead of any of these piano ballads melodically/lyrically. Just because she makes songs that are “sad” doesn’t mean it’s good. There’s just something about these songs that make them sound really uninspired to me at least.
Plus, the lyrical cliches this era are bothering me more than any of the lyrics that got heat from past eras. Some literally sound like they were written by a LDR impersonator.
