I listened to it again yesterday, and I thought it sounded more magical and nostalgic than ever... and I was thinking how on Earth can someone make something so beautiful and classy. I never get tired of listening to it. It is beyond me how some people still don't like it.
 
I'm sure many years from now, it will be considered one of her best, if not the best album she ever created. Pure magic.

I still wont forgive those three boys that falsely accused Michael of molesting them because their parents told them to. Yes he was out of the box, yes he collected toys, and child clothing. Has it occurred to anyone that Michael was raised in a very abusive militant household and his father would beat him and his brothers to a living pulp if they dared to even look at him the wrong way? He had unresolved trauma and throughout his life tried to recreate the childhood he never had. There was no proof he even touched those little boys. His own children adamantly say what a great father he was and that they miss him every day. Because of what those boys did people still look at him like hes something hes not and that irritates me. His music helped me so much throughout my painful childhood and Im so tired of people bringing him up when these things happen. 

Pertaining to melanie, i kinda had a stand offish vibe with her. I just started warming up to her bc my best friend literally loves her. I even bought my friend melanie merch as a gift. and then this story comes out. as the days pass im starting to not believe either of them because of the lack of information they both have. melanie's sorry excuse for a response isnt cutting it, and timothy got her dates fucked up so someone better fix their story.

It annoys me for some reason that every track on this CD is lossy. It's like mp3 burned to disc, defeats the purpose of buying the CD. Loving the album though

Agree! Listening to them i sometimes forget that they had vocals originally it's THAT good. They're so atmospheric and odd (in a good way). HM was her voice at it's best and her production at it's finest

I haven't seen anyone else talk about this here, so i want to, I may be pulling a Graham here so bare with me..
 
The release of this album is SO FUCKING SYMBOLIC! We all know by now the pain Kesha was going through prior to making this album and the abuse she endured under her producer, which worst of all blocked her from her passion: creating music. She even lost her case trying to free herself from his hold on her craft and we all saw her sob in court when that verdict was read. Now that Luke is out of Sony here she is, naked on the album cover (a bold statement from a rape survivor reclaiming her body) and singing about redemption, forgiveness, letting go of the past, and owning who you are and being proud. 
 
I may not love every track on this album but I love the story behind it and I will continue to support Kesha forever. She is one of the strongest and most underrated women  in music.
