its honestly insulting to release an EP of extended versions when each song is only extended by like 45 seconds max. I hate this trend. A true extended club song should be like 4 minutes minimum. At least Dua got it right with the extended version of Houdini.

That's unrelated but wouldn't it be insanely hard if there's a Nelly Furtado-esque song on the album which Hudmo produced like he produced Banks's Gimme?

Y’all really just need to learn some patience and/or self control. If you know you’ll overplay a single/snippet & thus ruin your own enjoyment, why would you even listen to it? To then come on here and complain that you’re bored + ready for something new. Like, BREATHE. 
 
If august is true, that’s less than 5 months away. Yeah it sucks, and i wish it’s june because to me that’s when a summer release should happen. But it’s not that bad! Have some damn patience!!

unfortunately I think that If the album is really coming out on August that's what the rollout for the album will end up being like. the worst part is that we'll have to wait 2 whole fucking months for the second single. the only positive thing I can think about it is that we won't have to get a month of painful teasing like just happened with Von Dutch and Good Ones. She just drops the second single just like she did with New Shapes 

What makes this all funnier is that she kept going on about crash being so cohesive and her best record upon release- then she got dislike and went with that as her opinion. I think shes very swayed by acclaim which makes sense as pop2 is her favourite.

She didn’t diss crash here but she has implied mutiple times that she has disowned the material on that record.
 
It’s quite apparent that she dislikes it- from saying that she isn’t as bored of brat as she was with prior records to saying she doesn’t want to make an album in that way again- it all just seems like a coverup to say she hated it
For what it’s worth I think crash will end up fairing better in the longer term when people see her albums- if von Dutch is any indication.

see you have a point here because i genuinely think id like the cover better if it was in a cohesive package, because what do you mean the cover is trolly rave poster but the inside is filled with a gorgeous photoshoot??? 😭 
 
i also feel like she doesn’t actually commit to the bit like i feel like she often has to sort of make excuses to do what she wants to do 😭 like her coming up with the whole concept of crash just because she wanted to make a more mainstream pop record feels like it was just an excuse to make her feel more artsy while also not alienating the gays who only like her for her experimental pots and pans music

Ok Doctor is actually so good. Like they really elevated the song from its demo. And the music video is cool. It’s not the best song ever, but it’s weird and addictive which is Miley’s forte

So apparently shes trying to release an album of outtakes and demos just like Mariah did but the label is not happy about it 
 
That may explain why she performed a new version of Doctor recently! Maybe it’s not too late to release her best songs ever; Taste Of My Own, Hands Of Time and Jaded (demo)

I feel like she's just releasing stuff for the sake of it because she literally has zero interest in her career anymore and has nothing new she is bothered to put out. 

this is just my theory, but as she doesn’t have rights to the masters of her first 2 albums, and has even said people can pirate geidi primes and halfaxa instead of giving that label money (she’s not making anything off the vinyls they’re currently selling), I’m wondering if this is a really quick way to have a version of the album in her name? nazgul records is her company so we’ll see if she does halfaxa too i guess. 
 
also unfortunately i feel like david (studio version) has either been deleted accidentally or on purpose. it’s about a friend who committed suicide in 2008 so I’m not sure she would release or remake it as much as I’d love it.
