First of all, Complex explicitly stated that the press release from Lana’s team said all three songs we have are from the album...just not official singles.
 
Secondly, the snippet shows up on Shazam as “Happiness is a Butterfly” so its a different track from NFR.
 
Thirdly, I was also expecting more psych rock influence after those early interviews, but we don’t know what the other songs will sound like and those we have snippets for may change like VB. Jack is known for switching up production mid-song.

No one wants to wake up to the news I woke up to this morning. No one. I was preparing my coffee, turning on wi-fi and the first thing I read is: “Lana Del Rey is going to release an album with piano ballads and bad vocal mixing”. I blinked my eyes countless times and I went on Facebook just to see more and more posts about it. I couldn’t believe it. My Norman Fucking Rockwell dream was over and there I was at 8AM sitting in my kitchen looking at the screen of my iPhone.
 
I know this may sound a bit too much but… Yes. Tears started falling from my eyes and they wouldn’t stop. I don’t consider this to be an over dramatic reaction like many of you could easily consider. I look at it as unconditional love, dedication and passion. Something unexplainable, no one can translate love into words or even admiration. Some people get your attention and you don’t know why. And while I am fully aware that Norman Fucking Rockwell is over, it's not just down to Lana, I also am aware that it’s never going to be the same. It doesn’t matter if it is Norman or Sylvia or Jack or Fucking or Rockwell. It doesn’t. I saw this album being born when Lana was just premiering one snippet on instagram. A few months later it turned into a strong and confident collection of snippets which were extremely inspirational. Lana and Jack brought the “introspective sad girl shit” back in the music industry and scored two of the biggest hits of this new decade. I was obsessed and extremely proud of it.
 
Every Lana fan was aware that Lana was not happy. There’s indifference and I don’t know what to think. Nonetheless, I am no one to judge that. All I want to make clear is: Lana Del Rey is never going to be Lana Del Rey again and that’s why I feel like my dream has been crashed. My Norman Fucking Rockwell dream has ended. It hurts so bad when you’re not prepared… 
 
Yet, I always like to see things from the bright side and I am going to always support Lana Del Rey as a singer and all of her albums as the great projects that they are. They’ve had an amazing and beautiful impact in my life.

Wait why would the album come out mid 2019? It’s already done and mastered so it doesn’t really make sense waiting for so long. March is a reasonable time to drop it.

This would be such a better cover for HIADT, and it makes sense because she's holding a the typewriter you can faintly hear in the song
 

as of today with my past of being an art student in London I can say that I've seen this shit many more multiple times than I ever wish I had, but it doesn't top the day a guy pulled his dick out during a group assignment and pissed on his painting he just made on the floor for Art

Controversial, but I actually like the cover that we got for UV, the original pic seemed a bit too loud and upfront, and actually, at least for me, felt a bit flat bc of the lighting and didn't really feel like it could've encapsulated the charm UV had. The muted gray on the cover felt like a fucking silent scream, and how faded yet controlled it looked pixel wise, and how the light escaped thru the foliage from the back, with her standing out of the car, felt more dreamy, and mysterious, which gave the record's aesthetic more of a slowburner feel like how Cruel World opens it. 

The alt cover felt like it was too pandering towards some kind of false edginess with the centeredness of her head, that she didn't really need to have proven. Also, it looked less elegant and didn't have all that much magic to it, even if the cigarette was being ignited. Didn't really have that staying power, unlike the cover that we actually got

I really love proto-punk bands like The Velvet Ungerground, Iggy Pop, Television and Patti Smith as well as postpunk bands such as Bauhaus, Joy Division and early Nick Cave. I'm not the biggest fan of the more noisy side punk, even though this one of my favorite songs:

I know Lana usually doesn't care about commercial success, but do you think the MGK could be for a single/radio remix of one of her songs? I've noticed a lot of artists add rappers to songs once they release them as singles in order for them to do better on the charts. I've always thought it seemed like an embarrassingly desperate thing to do but, honestly, It would still be better than having a MGK collaboration on the album.

Yosemite WAS recorded and was on that goddamn forsaken album until the day the bitch had to submit the tracklist within the first days of June as she had spent a good 5 hours cracked the hell out writing that fuck all piano ballad with rick nobels just to replace my fucking anthem that she herself had been hyping up on her OWN for months within every interview and they didn't even have to ask. They'd go on about her smile is BEAUTFOUL and how she looks so HAPPY and she's retort with quips about Yosemite this anthemic 70s folky acoustic guitar ballad in one take with high notes about happiness and a relationship chanigng and transforming over time and that fucking song was MEANT to be on that bitchass record she even had the GALL to sing it at the Spotify premiere event but those bussyboy popper sniffing gays had to scream over the only few lines we've heard of MY holy scripture and the fact we've never even heard a slcie of SNIPPETRY is disgusting and HOMOPHOBIC to the HIGHEST of al degrees we'll never know what my baby is about lfie is beautiFOUL WHO i have so many THEORIES and CONCEPTS about this unholy record, I KNOW for a goddamn FACT that there was melodies and production and hymns and vocals and that it's her best song she's ever fucking coneptualized, titled, written, loved, talked about, sung, written, interviewed with, the tone, every little goddamn thing I BET part of my SOUL on the fact that the song is about her lover from Video Games finding new love as she finds herself and inner peace by dispatching from her old friends and the toxicity that used to live within her life for so many years, she congratulated the mans she wrote about in the biggest love song in the history of the planet and mixing that with how relationships change and her keeping in touch with a lot of her exes as she's a very compassionate person that this shit was TOO HAPPY for the world and by extension too happy to exist the day it gets released with Architecture as it fucking SHOULD, a song about criticizing a an ex-lover for focusing on his work over his life and relationships, it is the PERFECT YIN YANG to the song about a more happy view of a split relationship, they are SISTERS. they are TWINS. they are WITCHES FROM DIFFERENT DEGREES
