I would be so satisfied with a record of ballads like Highly Emotional People, Flowers, and Goodbye. The true show stoppers of this record. We need a Marineymoon.

After listening to the album in full, I think that I can safely say this is my favorite album of 2021 so far. Choosing Ancient Dreams as the title track was a perfect choice, and I think that the transition between the social/political themes and the love themes are done really smoothly. My favorite is definitely Venus Fly Trap, with Pandora's Box and ILYBILMM following closely behind. I do think that Flowers is gonna be top three, or maybe even my favorite, after spending a few more days with it though. The production on this album has some of my favorite production ever from Marina - there's a perfect blend of strings, piano, guitar, drums and synths. Although I did like Love + Fear and it spawned some Marina gems for me (particularly End of the Earth), I think that this album feels more like the follow-up to Froot. I'm in love

“I’ve carried a lot of shame in my life that didn’t belong to me, and I’ve only recently really been able to liberate myself from that.”  Made me tear up :’) Her confidence this era is palpable and inspiring, so happy she’s at this place in her life ?

And who is "Predator" supposed to be then? Talking about being dumb

What is wrong with talking about it though? It's nice to have some discussion which is not "yass this is great" or "eeew this is shit"

and maybe cuz all of Tarantino's movies were under Harvey Weinstein's production company, hence her tshirt but idk could be all coincidental

I was thinking this earlier as well. You can loosely divide all the tracks into 3 main groups:
 
Songs about self-love - ADIAML, VFT
Songs about society/politics - Man's World, PTP, New America
Songs about Jack/break-up - HEP, Pandora's Box, ILYBILMM, Flowers, Goodbye
 
as you can see, that's basically the order of the track list (with the exception of HEP), so it's like she just structured the order around these themes

I had the same question  but someone a few pages said it refers to the colorized version of the silent movie star after the horror flick scene? which makes sense given the order of appearance & how her vibe changes when she’s in color 

I'm pretty sure its supposed to stand for "Quentin Tarantino" since all of the characters Marina plays are based off of certain types of movies and Tarantino is known for directing a very specific genre 
Some examples of his work are Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 
Plus it is a play on "cutie" haha

woah, she really came back with fire this era, not a single song was ugly and everything SLAPS. she's looking so confident, happy, and proud!! and i love to see it. also the visuals are SO GOOD???? i'm blown away  this is the sound we were all expecting after froot, so glad she's back being the best version of herself.
