It is just horrible that this poor girl has become a spectacle, we are going thru plagues, wars, financial crisis, climate change the list can go on, I truly do not have the energy to keep up with this endless TOXIC cycle of a leak-> people freak out-> attack her -> discourse -> thread close-> thread re-opens -> leak-> sky does something -> attack -> discourse -> thread close ... it is getting OLD and WEIRD!   also this is not an attack on anyone in particular, it is just something I have noticed in the last year or so, whatever cycle this fandom is stuck in needs to be converted into something more positive and productive, its wonderful to see fans still actively awaiting music from someone they appreciate for 10+ years, but what I have gathered is she will give us her art when she wants to, on some-what her terms; being signed to a major record deal at 15 years old is predatory and being exploited is the rallying call behind this situation no matter how much begging, harassing her, misogynistic advances, cyber-therapy, threats and CRIMINAL hacking of her and her label's property is going to change anything... Sky literally has a non -profit linked in her instagram for anyone who wants to occupy their time with something productive... I truly wish her the best if she is reading this, and knows that some people still appreciate her efforts, under her circumstances... All love here  just saying...

First off, I want to say it is very frustrating and I understand people are fed up with the constant false starts for the same album for almost 9 years. It’s awful. 
 
But here’s the bottom line: there are many many things at play that got us here, some of which are undeniably Sky’s fault, some of which are not. These include but are not limited to: 
 
Sky being stubborn // a perfectionist Capitol IS blocking some releases and has  made things difficult for her before   Sky having Lyme Disease and other health issues that required surgery  Lack of funding, both from Sky and Capitol Sky potentially suffering from depression or an anxiety disorder which causes her to  be indecisive, self-doubt and obsess over details // causes her to not release anything (I’m saying this as someone with a severe anxiety disorder because I’m the same way with things).   
I understand people are mad and it’s really annoying to feel let down year after year. But please — in a world where you can be ANYTHING, why be mean? Both to each other and to Sky. If you’re mad or angry about something, you can still choose kindness and realize there are so many other artists to follow and listen to while we wait for Masochism. Name calling is awful and if I was Sky (even IF everything was my fault) I’d feel so devastated by some peoples words on this thread. Please be nice to each other and give Sky the benefit of the doubt. I surely wouldn’t want to be in her shoes right now, regardless of who or what was causing the delays. Let’s choose positivity and optimism going forward

Yeah Q1 seems more likely, although it’d be a cute full circle if we got it in December because that’s Good Days/IHU month hehe. It’s so exciting now that things are a bit more concrete

Not to be a basic white gay but Everything is Embarrassing played at this rave I had to endure going with friends; it was the original version, no edits or mixes and it f*cking slapped. The way that track in specific is as fresh-sounding and anthemic as it was a decade ago goes to show the lengths this woman can go in the right and appropriate context and mindset.
 
Personally, I don’t care *that* much if she never makes music again because I’m at peace with the little she’s given us which was far more substantial, innovative and trailblazing than most artists achieve with their entire careers.

i don't think anybody here is trying to make you feel bad about yourself as a person, or trying to disrespect you, i actually feel like my little "dictionary" comment was not necessary, so i apologize for that, but a lot of people here are getting tired of seeing very negative comments about somebody who they at least have interest in if they're viewing this thread and commenting on it, some people may have different ways of going about that and discussing it, and maybe it could be seen as petty or "rude", but i would agree that it's not something we should be doing, we can acknowledge sky's faults without trying to bring her down as a human-being, or bring up things from her past, such as her addictions, and use them against her, i still feel like people are doing that, at some point, people are going to get fed-up with certain behaviors and will call it out how they see fit and it usually ends up getting heated

it's interesting the way some people go about and treat musicians/artists, mostly female artists, let's be real... friendly reminder that sky is a human-being too, and while it may be incredibly frustrating to see her lie, deflect from her album's release, etc. the way some users here talk about her, you'd be thinking that she's a criminal who has killed thousands, save the energy for more important matters which will actually benefit society, because constantly posting about all of the things you hate about some random woman who you don't actually know won't make you any more of a pleasant and iconic person, it just makes you look miserable
