Geez, can’t believe I let that short interview interrupt my listening... anyway I reached the end and did anyone talk about the end of Hope?! I couldn’t help smiling. That’s probably Jack talking to Lana after they finished recording the song and I’m so glad they kept that bit in because it’s so sweet.

Hope is actually a standout track from the album for me. The only thing I hate is the title. I've grown to appreciate it more, especially the bridge. I would be lying if I said my eyes don't tear up during the bridge sometimes.

Bartender is such a fragile beauty, talking about trying to maintain a love without being tainted by the media. Love the sobriety shout out as well. 

It sounds like The Greatest was written sometime after she left that comment on Kanye's Instagram last year. She mentions "the culture" in both the song and her comment.

The Greatest is completely different from what I imagined the song would be like based off the snippet we got. I assumed the song would deal with losing a lover or someone else close, but I didn't anticipate that the "greatest loss of them all" may be the loss of faith in the world we live in or the loss of the world we once lived in.
