I really love this radio mix but i want the original to be on uv. and since it seems like they're using the original in the music video, i think it will be. This one is a good single but the summer vibes don't fit with the theme of dark and unlistenable lol

This new radio version is fucking terrible. The mood and sex of the original is gone, this new one is some upbeat bullshit.
 
And here i thought the destroying of her songs was ending with Gervais doing cheesy crap dance singles. 
 
Oh well, the video looks cool. 

I guess the people who needs things in colour are the same people who dont watch subtitled movies because they don't want to "read" while watching.

Anyway, i'm glad the video is bnw, matches the song perfectly.

I actually thought nothing of the lyrics. I kinda took it literally, like I'd actually picture a man on a swing 
Now I think this song is about an abusive relationship. Like It fits the name Ultraviolence, and the lyric Lana mentioned, "he hit me and it felt like a kiss". Also, it reminds me of Hundred Dollar Bill, like Jimmy. Cause of the lyric, "I like your ultra-violent swing, I like it when you treat me mean, you turn my mood from black to blue"
 
     And I think Boy blue is either a cocaine/crack or amphetamine reference (but probably cocaine/crack cause its more commonly abused), cause, according to the drug slang dictionary, boy means cocaine, and blue means crack. Blue Boy is amphetamine. 
 
So maybe west coast is about a lover who got into drugs and eventually changed and became abusive? Or just about aggressive relationships in general?
 
Its a pretty shitty lanalysis but what ever

I reached my hand out, she grabbed it, I thanked her for her music and told her it heals me. I showed her my tattoo of one of her lyrics and she said "You are too sweet to me." I hugged her and kissed her on the cheek, we came out from the hug and then she kissed my cheek and she signed my poster. Tried to attach photos but the photos are too large. I kind of thought of it like he was "swinging" (punching, etc) and then his hands were up in a sort of guilty way (like when a policeman says "put your hands up!") But really, who knows, she could just mean swinging in the same way she does in Video Games.

It's so hard for me to choose between all her songs.
 
Carmen is an amazing song. It has such a dark feeling to it. I especially love when she sings " The boys, the girls, they all like Carmen". How can she make something so simple into something so beautiful?
 
She has a talent for doing that. Dreamy, chill, and outer worldly.
 
The song I first fell in love with was Summertime Sadness one night while laying in bed after a smoke... And I was smitten. I had to find out more about her.
 
She just has this sweet voice.
 
I also love Yayo and Radio.

I live for Radio to be honest. There's footage of me somewhere spinning in circles singing/crying to Radio. Good times.
 
But basically any song where she sings about one of her many "one true loves" I just feel like an emotional wreck in the best way possible.

i'll always love national anthem the most. i fell in love with lana and her music when i heard that snippet she uploaded to youtube before btd came out.

Ride is my favorite song so epic and beautiful, next year it might be "The Golden Age" by Woodkid, also Epic and beautiful
