  1. hey what's up? are you coming back to Montreal soon?
  2. I was listening to the album earlier and it had me thinking that I wish she'd make more music like 'I Never Learn', 'so sad, so sexy' was a monumental disappointment, she just jumped on the trap beats bandwagon in 2018.
  3. This made me miss my grandparents even more.
  4. I feel like 'No Time To Die' has been out for like three years now, it's a dud.
  5. The power this look has. She looked like a 70s swamp nymph and it was everything; besides Lana who ROCKS a birds headpiece?? I was gagged when I saw her wear this and still am. I was even more gagged when she wore that messy yellow dress at Osheaga a few days later, which I saw with my very eyes. :')
  6. 5, 11, 13, 14, 27, 34 & honestly 35. The latter is the best, but people will overlook it cause Lana reused it ad nauseam in the worst possible way.
  7. Never thought I'd see Karen Collins on LanaBoards huh

  10. From my personal archive, this dorky picture of Lana—
  11. I would say the worst kind of people, period.
  12. "Largely misunderstood by critics upon its initial release, Born to Die was ahead of its time. Blending genres like hip-hop and rock ’n roll, merging orchestral riffs with beats pulled from rap music, Lana layered flowery, breathily-intoned lyrics inspired by classic literature in a husky, sexy voice to complete her fusion. She sang uniquely of heartbreak, love lost and the murky depths of abuse..." That is the same person that accused Lana of overlooking the gentrification of New York in Brooklyn Baby. Ngl her hypocrisy is funny.
  13. Lucky Ones appreciation post.
  14. This album was such an experience oh wow. I remember I started listening to Lana during the summer of 2012. Video Games was the first song I listened to, then the songs that were available on YouTube; Born To Die, Blue Jeans, Carmen, etc. I was OBSESSED with Video Games from the first listen, I actually bought the single on iTunes. Then Ride, Blue Velvet & American came out and I digged those songs too, especially Ride. It wouldn't be until November that I would buy the double album. The first full listen was an otherworldly experience. I would listen to both the album and EP non-stop for the next year, then Ultraviolence came out and it really cemented Lana as my fave. It's crazy how time flies. 10 years.
