dont know if this is gonna be perceived as me rejecting her new poet ways or whatever but i want this to be an album of SONGS that feel like music not beat poetry

I think it’s coming in September. I have faith in her. Wasn’t she in the studio with jack back in like January? I feel like the album is done and bc she said surprise drop, it will be just that. No singles or anything beforehand but who knows. The only thing that might make me think otherwise is it seems she’s had a change of direction form the WHF to COCC. In my opinion from what she has said about both, it doesn’t seem to be the same album vibe. I think COCC is going to basically be her lengthy typewritten notes in music form lol but I’m here for it

I think the same! And with the LFL May 26th date and NFR March 29th date, Lana never said those dates herself - they came from other sources 
So I think the September 4/5 date is going to happen!
 
Even though she said January 4th for Violet, but a major studio album is harder to sweep under the rug than a side-project like poetry

i remember in the grammy museum interview with her and jack she talked about how she won’t release an album until she has both the first and last track of the next album. so i seriously think that shes had so much time to write a full record and i really think this is coming september 4th/5th. very excited for this album and i love how we have no snippets or no idea what to expect so far

i guess its more about the release cycle
 
- Both HM and Chemtrails were announced shortly after the release of the previous album
- Both are coming out roughly a year after the last
- Both were teased with a title which changed (Music To Watch Boys To as the initial HM title + White Hot Forever as the initial COCC title)
- Both HM and Chemtrails are coming in September

I would assume Lana just misspoke and that the album is coming September 4th 2020, which is a Friday
(as someone had pointed out on here already, she said Hope is a Dangerous Thing.. would come out on January 8 and it ended up coming on January 9)
 
and assuming she has the album cover/visuals ready to go, vinyl pressings would start this week/next week as she has stated before she needs to be done a record 90 days before its release date. However, if there is a delay due to Covid-19, then maybe it'll be similar to the Lust for Life release, where vinyls came out later?
 
I'm so excited though! I feel that this pre-release period feels similar to Honeymoon, which a lot of people have already pointed out

The MGK collab was for his album " Hotel Diablo" but yeah he deleted/ scrapped an early version of this album including their collab BUT apparently their collab is the only track from the early version which got not deleted. So it still exists. MGK called it an "Elite-Collab" and  he said "that song can come out whenever and still be relevant. So if anything, that one’s always there."

Im guessing the title track is "Chemtrails Over the Country Club" 
she has had a year more to work on it so it isn't that unreasonable & also many studios in LA are reopening  

im so excited / I just hope the album isn't political (chemtrails kinda political or maybe conspiracy) doesn't she have a poem discussing chemtrails

I have a feeling after this she’s going to go on a hiatus. Idk why it’s just a vibe I’ve always gotten since she said she was going to drop another album so quickly. Like she’s been writing so much and putting stuff out and now she wants to take a break. Nothing supports this, just a vibe.
 
I feel like the mode of transportation on the front might be a plane just bc of the chemtrails title, but I would really like to see the car scene that Charlie had posted and then deleted, if that was her and what was going on. I wouldn’t be mad if that popped up. As for flowers, I think there will be one but she has also been posting some trees lately and I could see some kind of tree being a theme. But maybe she is reserving the trees for the poetry since lemons come from trees and she posted the tree in the patent leather do over video. Who knows but I’m so excited.

Do we know this is the album title and not a song title though? On IG she said "the record" and I never know which she means by that.    Apologies if that's already been covered here somewhere. 
 
I think the title is genius! Glamour tainted with pollution. Poison-green vinyl. 
 
I want National Anthem visuals but apocalyptic...I'm picturing that scene at the end of The Virgin Suicides with the debutante ball where everyone is wearing gas masks...an image like the one below as the album cover. Glamour and paranoia in the age of Covid.
