She is definitely more confident I would say than she used to be in interviews and on stage, I think she is just naturally an anxious and awkward person though so she always does come off a little weird and will probably never be 100% comfortable in interviews. Young Thug who im also a big fan of is the same way in his interviews and has also got better over time. You can just tell with how fidgety, how they speak in weird patterns and fluctuate how loud they talk and how they always look around that they are nervous when being interviewed.

Is it too late to do song rankings? Eh, probably.
 
HTD has been growing on me, even the jingle bells. Definitely a grower song. It's actually kinda slick tbh.
 
My bias against everything new-BAR has cooled, so it's not a pain to listen to for me now. But now I'm finally understanding what people meant when they said it was boring (either version). The story told in the lyrics really made it for me in the first place, so with a less dark interesting story, it's just kind of song that's there and I forget that I'm listening to halfway through.
 
Doin' Time isn't too bad of a last-minute addition.

white hot just means something is very hot (when metals heated after red-hot it goes white hot   ) and her saying forever brings me to the conclusion that the album title means...

A little concept I made for a imagined AKA reissue, which would be a dream come true to me.

I titled it "The Revenge of Lana Del Rey" which was one of the possible album titles for what ended up being "Born To Die". 

I decided the title would be perfect for its tongue and cheek nature and the later misconception of the media to what actually was the Lizzy Grant era. The idea obviously came after watching the new and instant classic that is the Doin' Time video. Rich Lee is the KING!

I know right? That's already how the general republic sees her, and they're just making it worse! Sometimes I just wanna scream and be like "ARE Y'ALL EVEN FANS???"

Everyone on twitter is going on about how they have a new collection of sugar daddy anthems (like they do with every new Lana album) and it’s cringey and I feel secondhand embarrassment for all of them. I hate that this is what everyone reduces Lana’s art to.

But seriously, it's not their age so much as that they have a preconceived idea of what a 'pop' record should be, particularly those put out by women, and they don't judge the records on their own merits. And they're still going on about 'persona' because some artist uses a name different to what was on their birth certificate, ignoring the fact that every one (and I mean every single one of their sacred male artists (whether Van Morrison, David Bowie, Oasis, Nick Cave, Ryan Adams, or whoever the hell you want to name) were also building and hiding behind an artistic persona. That the Guardian - which pretends to be this bastion of 'right on' and progressive thinking, is still following such a sexist and ridiculously old fashioned frame of mind when it comes to music, is depressing but about what is to be expected.

I dont have a problem with them reviewing pop albums. But at least do objective criticism and not just drag her persona in very sexist way in most of the article.

why do old men keep reviewing her music? like there's a 99% chance they won't get it, the music is not for them. I don't want them to listen to it idc
