    just another radio update but - vft is now up to 38 on the US alt radio chart! It’s super cool to see her having good luck with radio rn, especially since she didn’t send any singles from the past two albums. but the texts are definitely helping so keep it up besties!! i think you should be able to text till sunday?

    Venus Fly Trap debuted at #47 on mediabase’s alt radio chart (!) - reminder that this is like a really great opportunity for marina, so you and everyone you know (if you live in the US) should be texting UP to 55701 this week  or else it’ll flop and be taken off radio really quickly 
     
    im pretty sure you can only text once per number, but every text counts besties!!!!!! steal ur friends phone, steal ur parents phone, ur coworkers phone, u know what u gotta do - getting good radio play can open tons of doors for artists

    i really loved why not! i think people were iffy abt so what cuz it was quite different from their past releases, like its the most "boy group" sounding tt they have yet. but ptt is very girl crush-esque. i think its growing on me after a couple more listens. still have yet to listen to the ep tho

    the non-ballads are actually great and very strong thematically I really don’t understand why she had to throw that beautiful concept out of the window with 5 ballads with the same production and concept 
     
    IDK it felt really unnecessary considering when she does ballads it’s always that 1-2 songs that stand out and make you appreciate them more, as opposed to half an album of em

    i really hate the artwork, photo looks ok but the overall composition of the cover looks really dated, like it came from coverlandia circa 2013. don't get me wrong, it's not ugly, just dated. also, not giving me "planet her" at ALL! the billboard photoshoot did a much better job on embracing that concept. i can't believe they got david fucking lachapelle for that! maybe lil old grandpa david is losing his magic, idk. i really love doja and i hate to be a negative nancy but it's been a really underwhelming release for me

    It's a really great album don't get me wrong, but most of the songs sound like songs she's already released before (For exemple Kiss Me More/Say So or Been Like This/Streets). I feel like her team wants her to stay in the spotlight by releasing songs they know will perform well
