did anyone catch the part where a fan wanted to ask a question ab wildflower wildfire and lana was like OOP maybe don't ask ab that one! and pointed at her dad (prob thinking the fan was going to ask ab the "my father never stepped in when his wife would rage on me" line) and the fan was like NO NO NO I just wondered about the "promise you like a million tomorrow line"!

BB is incredible. In a couple of weeks, I’ll go back to Chemtrails since both albums seem to be about family / chosen family in a way. Love BB and it’s my top 2 album from her, alongside UV and HM. 
If You Lie Down With Me is a masterpiece.
BBS is just so chaotically incredible and représentative of the times we are living in. Thunder feels brand new. Dealer is straight up UV juice. Beautiful and Violets are two of her catchiest melodies ever. 
it’s the last songs that I connect a little less because they are so specific, but beautiful as well.
We made it, guys!

Ok guys I'm working on a track by track review right now but I'm going to post the one about BBS now bc it really made me write for 40 minutes straight &  it's quite long

Good morning, I stayed up til 2:30 last night to listen through the album after working on a school project, I have no complaints, it’s a 10/10 album to me and the new Thunder is stunning and fits in so well with the rest of the songs. Sweet Carolina made me weep.

This is the love child of the best parts of Honeymoon, Ultraviolence and Chemtrails over the Country Club. 

Okay, completely bawling my eyes out after Sweet Carolina. Seriously, crying like a baby right now, so I'm fighting back tears as I write this.
 
This is probably a bit personal for me to share, but I spoke about it a little bit ago last month when I shared a GoFundMe link for something regarding this.
 
At the beginning of this year in January, one of my best friends announced an unexpected pregnancy with her fiancé. Our friends & I were surprised, but told her we were there to support her through every step.
As a bridesmaid, I watched her walk beautifully down the aisle to marry her husband in June, knowing their baby would be shortly on the way. Was fighting back tears then too. (& didn't do a very good job at it based on the pictures.)
I then got to attend her baby shower in August, reveling in her excitement and nervousness. I even helped her set up the crib afterwards. She was so scared, not feeling completely prepared, but she was so excited for her new child.
She gave birth to her lovely baby boy on August 28th after a 48-hour labour. A perfectly healthy baby. She was so happy and we were all happy for her, and it was the beginning of a new chapter.
I don't even know how to write this next part, again as I'm still crying here, but her son unfortunately passed away just 9 days later in her arms suddenly from SIDS. She had texted me in the middle of the night about it as her son was airlifted to the hospital.. not really having much hope from the doctors.. until he was eventually declared braindead.
It was like the world had completely shattered in front of all of our eyes.
Some friends flew in for the funeral, and seeing her once more walk down an isle.. this time completely heartbroken and empty inside.. I don't think anything has ever broken my heart more.
The first time I saw her since the funeral was two weeks ago when her, her sister, and I went up to the mountains for a little birthday celebration for me. She was laughing and having fun, showing a little of that old side of her joyous self that had been completely wiped away after the tragedy she faced. 
I love her so much, and this song makes me think of her.

I need to listen again. There's something about this moment of everyone experiencing this album together that is making it feel even more sublime.

black bathing suit is actually kind of cute bc before me and bf got together, we'd meet up at a target parking lot and turn on NFR and just talk and then sometimes do other things that are illegal but it was night time so i was looking over at him looking over at me real cute cause he said i was bad and

When was the last time we were ALL this happy? This album is something else I'm telling you 

Ugh Wildflower Wildfire.. this is truly one of her best songs ever. This is not up for debate, it's just factual. It contains some of her best lyrics, vocals, and the melody... I feel this song will still end up as my favourite from the record even though the other songs I've heard have been absolutely top tier, I just love this one so much. I really, really hope she performs it live one day.. I can just imagine her in the dark venue in complete silence singing this song from her heart x

WOWOWOW!! A screamer for sure, but I LOVE IT!! I love her super raw vocals like this. I always have. I've been waiiiiting for a song like this where she just completely lets it all out, and this did NOT disappoint!! And the sultry lil outro?? Incredible!! I can't wait to scream this song alone in a dark room, drunk in spirit, spilling it all out there with her

Dealer is such a moment. I want more of that lounge-y, sexy vibe.
