To be honest I only heard of Chris Isaak and I never listened to his songs. But I really like the live performance of Wicked Game and I like the song Wicked Games.Honestly I didn't checked out other songs of him but after I read your post I want to know more about his discography.
At least we agree that a duet for WHF would be nice. In my opinion they really would fit together in a song

I like TNBAR and I'm kinda glad she released it  but it really could fit on LFL. Imagine Lana would have released RBFY, TNBAR (and Yosemite ) after LFL as standalone singles. These outtakes, which seems to be special to Lana, would have found a home, maybe with music videos
And with Doin' Time I often feel the same. For a very short time I thought it kinda fit but then again I often think that it doesn't fit on this album...
overall it is a good album but it is not 100% perfect...

I wish she could re-release AKA next year. However I doubt she is going to recognize AKA's anniversary.

I think it would be awesome if L.D.R. re-released A.K.A. With a bunch of unreleased bonus tracks, and with a 30 page booklet containing information about when and where each song was recorded, and anecdotes about what each song is based on [autobiographical] or inspired by.

Okay, after hearing the album, this theory is IT this makes so much sense
 
NFR! literally picks up Lizzy Grant sound/songwriting where AKA left off. Like I said in the post-release thread, it's a matured Lizzy Grant relocated to Cali, and you can't tell me otherwise  

That would be so cute for her to rerelease it on the 10th anniversary, I feel it would be very bittersweet for her. And for her to see how far she's come.. 

I've had this in my brain for the past month an a half an needed to make it. I've always voiced before how Lana should re-release AKA on its 10th aniversary and how cool it's be.
But I've been wondering now , after Rockwell, what's left? after HM shes somehow been reverting back in lyrical topics/style in a #tbt kind of way.. so could it all go back to the start?

I am quite overwhelmed as many of you seemed to love their duet.  
It would be nice to get another duet for her upcoming album. But to be honest I would prefer a new song instead of Wicked Game. This song was the reason why I became a fan of Isaak and his band back in 2006 but they are so much more and I wish people would recognize. I have every single song Isaak ever recorded and finally released, and in the meantime I think Wicked Game is his weakest song, lyrically, vocally and musically. He has so many songs that are so much stronger, his voice is insane. A fan fav e.i. is Things Go Wrong.

The fact that Lana’s been bringing out so many smaller artists, specifically ones that play their own instruments too, makes me wonder if she’s also networking to form bonds with more musicians who can help her create whatever she’s going for. She did say what she loved so much about Jack was all the instruments he plays. Imagine how unlimited her musical possibilities would be with a whole posse of multi-instrumentalists by her side. I kind of expect at least a couple of the people she’s invited to perform with her this tour to end up on WHF (or is it just LDR8 now?), whether as actual duets or just as session musicians and harmonies. It would be cool if she got a bunch of smaller musicians in the studio with her to do their own thing on her songs. Even just inviting Zella and Weyes to harmonize with her throughout the album would be magical. Ugh I know it’s unlikely, but imagine she recruited all female indie musicians to make up a backing band for her next album. She did say she’d love to have sort of a band (it would be extra cool though if it was all under appreciated and overly talented women). In general, I like the idea of her highlighting smaller artists in this tour and I’d love for her to give them even small roles on her next album if not full on duets. If not this album, maybe the next one.

Lust For Life (album) is actually quite good. It's not my favorite from her by any means, but listening to it while driving at night the other night was such a serene experience.
Album highlights: Love, 13 Beaches, Cherry, Summer Bummer, In My Feelings, God Bless America (the bridge and final chorus ), Tomorrow Never Came, Heroin, Get Free

I think I’d hate that, not with she seems to be heading towards now in her vision.

Any track with Ari becomes Ari’s track. Leave it off the album.

I don't buy this, though. She's been singing UV (including "he hit me and it felt like a kiss"). She's spoken in interviews about how she is no longer in that place, and before she sang it in (Seattle?) she said, "do you ever look back on something you wrote and ask yourself 'what was I thinking?'"
 
So it doesn't make sense that she'd sing that but TLY is out of the question.

The Greatest, Venice Bitch, NFR, and Love Song have all aged sooooo well for me.

I never listen to Doin Time, Hope, or How To Disappear. Her vocals in HTD are so badly mixed. This album mixing is just weird in general, not bad, just weird.
It's also hard for me to see her as the same artist these days, like someone a page ago said, it feels like she has completely moved away from what actually makes LDR, LDR.
 
It feels like I'm listening to Elizabeth Grant
and she literally used it in the trailer for the LATTMT as if she was going to sing it  

When HM came out, she claimed TLY was her favorite track on the album, so it would be a mystery as to why she would dislike it now.
