I can't tell why but I'm so curious to see the tracklist..want the tracklist so bad!
 
And I wasn't that active the last days on here but if they shot the album cover at the Eric Lloyd House+ Complex it could be a SERVE. I still hope that we get a conceptual album cover...maybe some Chemtrails (photoshopped) into the sky, Lana looking scared towards the Chemtrails, a table with a can of gin/alcohol on it (trade this body for the can of gin- TJF) and so on...And I don't think that the album gets delayed bc of that. They could be editing the cover right now and it could be finished soon and we could get at least the digital versions on September 5
And if they shot the album cover I hope they also shot some scenes for a music video there, maybe for the title track. I like it when the album cover and the title track music are related to each other.  I wished they shot some scenes on the boat for NFR! music video last year

Standard will have 11 tracks.
 
France will issue an edition with 12 tracks, an exclusive track being one horrible remix.
 
German edition has 12 tracks with one obscure track that Rick Nowels reworked.
 
Target edition will have 13 tracks, with two exclusive tracks (not including the German track).
 
Japanese edition will have 14 tracks, the two Target exclusive tracks plus the horrible French remix.
 
A deluxe edition is issued with all the tracks and weird remixes, but without the German edition track.
 
Australia gets an "Australian Tour Edition" which has no exclusive tracks, but the weird French remixes and a Summertime Sadness remix from 2012.

Yeah I think she did say that, but I feel like she might have some songs leftover this time around and release a follow up EP or a deluxe version. There's lots of songs which could have been released (RBFY, Stupid For Being So Happy, Hey Blue Baby, Yosemite etc). It's a shame to keep them hidden.

Not rlly related to COCC but I feel like a lot of people saw the Kanye namedrop as her being shady and dragging but I saw it more as her just naming everything that's going wrong at the moment. LA's in flames, Hawaii got a missile alert and one of the greatest artists of this generation is wearing a MAGA hat and is saying stuff like that slavery was a choice. It wasn't really a jab at Kanye, it was more just her being disappointed. It fit the context of the song very well imo.

for me it seems like it's building up the same way Cinnamon Girl did (and Hard Feelings from Melodrama) so maybe it'll open up a bit in the chorus (assuming the snippet was a verse) and hopefully some kind of instrumental outro... i'm basing this on jack's usual production pattern

Announcement of something should be coming this week. There’s a slow build-up this time around (which I really like). But I remember the feeling of « finally, the circle is getting complete » when NFR’s cover, trailer, tracklist and preorder were posted (and I was on my last leg of a vacation in Italy: it was so surreal).

Agree! But I'm glad that we don't have so many snippets as we had in the NFR! era....

For me the anticipation now is much worse than for nfr. Last year at this point we had singles, cover art, tracklist, trailer, snippets, confirmed date and two singles coming so i kinda knew what to expect. Now we have nothing, we dont even know if its coming on sept 5. That suspence is so much worse

I don’t even bother abbreviating the super long titles, I simply call them hope/hope is a keyboard smash, when at war, GBA, Coachella... Violet for the entire book etc.

I dreamed about her releasing a single before we heard TJF. The single, in my dreams, was very meh. Like generic pop.
 
Since then, I dreamed a couple of times about the tracklist announcement. One time, Yosemite was on it; another time, Thunder was on it and I thought it was very WTF? I also dreamed I Talk To Jesus was reworked and that all the titles had like 12 words each. As you can see, the tracklist is a big part of all the eras for me lol.
She tends to release stuff or announce things when I’m busy AF. I’m going back to work on the 24th: watch her release TJF then. Same happened last year with FIILY and the greatest.

Lana always releases music when I'm on holiday/vacation/away from home, it's happened quite consistently in 2015 2017 and 2019 and I'm going away next Friday for a week so single then?
