It's kind of amazing how much TNBAR's lyrics have grown on me because of the cohesion with the rest of the album and the contrast of reality vs. dream in verses/chorus. The entire song has a completely different, romantic and nostalgic - maybe slightly jaded in the verses - view of the protagonist's lover now. The only positive aspect of the leak was having time to adjust to that before the full album experience.

I guess you don't know how this works, so let me explain. This wasn't uploaded to Youtube manually by her team, it's on Youtube Music i.e. it's a separate service that essentially gets music from when it's distributed to stores, not from them uploading it themselves. Youtube's system automatically generates the video with the artwork provided, hence why with any music that's on the "topic" stuff is from that. You see it in the description as "Provided to YouTube by Universal Music Group".

I listened to the LQ leak and ... well no. I still love the song but the lrics change is terrible. The bitter vibe and the "You did it all for fame. How does that taste coming out?" lines really were something special and beautiful.
Now I get that she's at a different place in her life now and she probably has a different point of view on this relationship by now. But the new lyrics are just ... bad. They are meaningless, random and make no sense at all. If she wanted to chage the chorus, why couldn't she come up with something better than "I just wanna party with you, I'm taking of my bathing suit"? Empty phrases that don't fit the rest of the lyrics and don't even flow that well.
The production and her vocals are still on fire and not even those bad lyrics will manage to ruin the song for me, but it's a fact that the new chorus is REALLY bad songwriting which was pretty much done for the sake of it.

can't believe that in 5 whole days, we will have an incredible record to listen to in hq and a new tour starting september!   
i'm putting out good intentions that she switches up the setlist and maybe has a cute stage design. god bless the universe, the ocean, you & me
