i think yall are over categorizing rock candy sweet as  a "REVENGE ALBUM WITH ROCK AND DEALER AND SCREAMING AND LANAS GONNA RIP THE CRITICS A NEW ONE HELL YEAH!"
when in reality i dont think thats lana's style. even the font she used on the selfie doesnt imply that. the title literally has "sweet" in it. she wouldnt make an entire album dedicated to her haters. I really think its going to be an album
i really think its going to be rock influenced songs, "candy" songs that are fun and show her more pop song influences, and then sweet songs like cherry blossom, roses bloom for you etc

Maybe when she says she wants revenge, doesn't necessarily mean angry, loud songs but just like "Imma make the most beautiful sounding album ever you bitches aint gonna be able to say shit about it". Like revenge in a sweet way

I don't buy the quick turnaround means she doesn't like Chemtrails. She could have simply shelved the album if Rock Candy Sweet was already in the works and she didn't want to release it. I think she was just very inspired/fueled by her controversies last year (and even at the start of this year). By the time all of that happened, Chemtrails was already pretty much complete, and Jack was too busy with Taylor and other projects to return and expand on it anymore, so she had two separate projects in the end. Lana's always had a complicated relationship with her own work, and Jack said Chemtrails is his favorite album they've done together. So two albums for us this year - despite all the delays and bullshit, we're very lucky!

Lana said in november shes working on 2 albums and in january she said she doesnt have 4 songs for the next album

Also we already know when it doesn't come on June 1 we'll be saying "she meant to say June 11 and it actually makes more sense because it's a Friday" ???

For those of you who aren't native English speakers, this is rock candy. It's hard and crunchy, made from crystallized sugar. Just pointing out "rock" and "candy" are part of the same phrase - although yes there may be a rock sound on this album by chance, I don't think the title is meant to reference the genre as much as just a metaphor she's using

First of all, “September 5th” was embedded within a long statement and wasn’t even the whole point of that statement. 
 
“ROCK CANDY ? SWEET June 1” is literally the caption her latest post - it’s direct and right there. She’s always stayed true to the dates she’s given in written accounts, AKA captions on social media. 
 
 
Plus, she’s definitely been working on this for almost a year! She never stops writing, we know that! And the bulk of Chemtrails was literally done within a five month span in 2019. I think she’ll come through!
