its among a lot of other cheesy lyrics on the album. the worst part about NFR is that the lyrics can't be saved by lush and grand instrumentation like on BTD. but anyways yeah California is just lazy sounding like i can imagine her just sitting down and writing the whole thing in one go. it makes me want to unstan her but i still have hope for COCC for some reason

I definitely would not go again. It was nice to just go, and it felt pretty unreal to see her onstage even when I was far away, but would not do again, especially if I'm just going to hear the same songs played again with a couple from NFR. 
 
This post has me realising that what I remember most from the show is actually just the look of the stage and her backup dancers moving around, more than her actual voice and whatever she did  

idk if i'd wanna watch Lana live if i could. i'd probably go anyways but i see too many of her videos barely singing its like you cant hear her at all and she'll even cover the mic sometimes for the effect or something

also i wish she was never so hung up on the image of being mysterious. back in her lizzy grant days she was much more open about what her songs meant

not a very popular thread but i just wanna say i love this girl <3 i've seen her in concert twice and even though most of her work was so sexual it feels parody-ish to some people she's genuinely extremely talented and intelligent. i really hope i get to see her break into the main stream

 
She's just retiring from her old style of writing that was super sexual cause she didn't like the effect she felt it had on the world. said something while crying in a live about seeing kids in her concert singing to all these lyrics about sucking dick and it didn't feel right. low key could have been talking about me 

The "committing treason" line could also allude to a suicide attempt

i saw her live in 2017 for the first time, and it was the only time i could've seen her as i started listening to her in 2014 and other than a few festivals im pretty sure she didn't come here? so anyways, i got the tickets on the day of the show with my mum because they sold out so fast online. the queue for was literally so long. it was also in summer and i hate the heat   the o2 academy in brixton has these slanted floors, so it's very uncomfortable to stand in and made my legs and feet ache for days. i witnessed many arguments at the concert too LOL. im trying to figure out if these factors made my experience literally the worst thing ever, but i feel like lana also just didn't give it her all and it wasn't worth seeing. i did get tickets for the nfr tour but... well. i don't think i'll get tickets for her again now but that's just my opinion. she's more of a studio artist i guess

lana's at least had........some kind of vaguely interesting imagery sometimes? taylor's is like a mixture of a seventeen magazine perfume ad and a libfem girlboss pinterest quote board
