I love this video, and I don’t think quantity = quality. Just because she made it herself on her phone doesn’t make it any worse than her high budget videos. It’s about the sentiment and I absolutely love the intimacy of this video. It’s super fitting for the song and I feel like I’m there with her in these snippets of her life that we’re privy to in the video. I hope we get more videos like this in the future because they’re so raw and truly capture who Lana is at her heart! <3

I really think you should let go of the image that you have built of Lana a little bit. I feel that she finally found herself artistically, in her poetry and her way of telling stories, also through books or music. her choosing to make her own clips, single covers and etc. reflect that she is really committed to doing things her way. and I feel that anyone who can’t accept that maybe should choose another artist as their favorite instead of being put some negativity in her job! 

Agree with everything! Except I'm getting more of a track 3 or 4 vibe for whatever reason.

At the end of the video Weyes Blood says a really simple thing about just living life and I think that was left in because it really sums up the song. I think she’s talking about how LA has served her well but she’s not in a place where she feels like the city is necessarily what grounds her - it’s the people there and that’s why this record is about her friends and family and why she feels like she can leave LA  - but she knows that it’s the people who she loves who make life fun and livable. I think it’s beautiful that this song came first and it makes sense that it’s the first single. I’m definitely hoping it’s track 1! <3

Just watched the new vid and it really wasn't as bad as peeps were making it out to be ?‍♂️ I mean, Venice Bitch was a much more boring video and extremely repetitive, (though still one of my fave tracks from NFR, regardless of the vid) - I just don't think Lana was trying to go too deep with this video. She probably wasn't even planning on releasing a vid for this track and then decided last minute to put something together. It's a cute vid, that's about it. Definitely not worthy of the meltdowns I've been reading all day ?‍♂️ - COCC will be the money shot when it releases I'm sure

Seeing all these negative comments on her Instagram post + Paradise Live leaking (putting me in the best mood ever), I want to take a step back from what I said.
I love you, Lana. The cover art isn't my cup of tea but you're the artist and I respect your artistic decisions. 
The song is beautiful and I don't mind the cover art at all. <3
