Let me clarify with a big fat *TO ME*,  the whole era just gave like, "Okay I'm done with this now [throws away the stage personas, outfits, colors, bright shit, anything fun]. We're a matured woman now, with matured woman feelings and matured woman emotions okay? We're MATURE."

I get the whole dropping of "and the diamonds" thing or whatever in the quest for artistic vision and self branding, but it just feels like the L+F era dropped a certain chunk of her personality and presence as well and that void leaves a taste in folks' mouths when they look at it.

Also, it seems Lana deleted the post because she was getting spammed with comments saying “don’t listen to Lana!” and then those people would reply to those comments saying “… without me 🤭”  which I’m sure Lana didn’t see the second part. How incredibly stupid. I just know it’s the young tiktok stans that were apart of that. I hope they don’t continue to do stupid stuff like that, and that this doesn’t lead to Lana deactivating her account again. We’re so lucky to have her back, let’s be grateful and not stupid x

I’m usually all gags on this site tbh but I wanted to add a more serious 2¢ life lesson that I hope people take with them. A good friend of mine opened up about her infertility struggles which turned out to be a literal life or death situation - I’ll skip the idiosyncratic details for ha privacy but we spent some time talking about the dangers of bringing up this kind of topic at all because you never know what kind of struggles someone is going thru. Maybe they want children but can’t have any, maybe they are simply waiting for the right time. But I’d encourage everyone to tread carefully when talking to (or about) anyone on this topic. The last thing we want to do is alienate or hurt someone inadvertently because we weren’t being mindful or felt the need to comment on appearances (which comes with a similar mindful responsibility!)

Still, comments being like “omg is she pregnant” happen way too often in pop culture whenever celebrity women gain weight, dress a certain way, etc and it’s always been so odd to see at least from my perspective. I swear Lana pregnancy speculations have happened every few months since like 2014 and it’s just weird to me. Let the pop girlies just birth out their albums xx

Someone who was there messaged me a little bit about their experience and said one of the waiters at the restaurant she was at told a friend while she was there and word travelled fast, so there were a bit of local fans waiting outside for her.

The fan said she was super sweet to everyone, smiling and giggling as she spent around an hour talking to everyone. She’s so kind for doing that as she could’ve totally just denied to take any pictures/sign things and say she didn’t have time and had to leave, but I think this is a real testament to how much she cares for her fans. Not a lot of other celebrities would have done this. The fan there said that all the fans were really calm and respectful of her too, no one really freaking out, screaming, or hounding around her, which I’m sure made her more comfortable with the experience too. I imagine a screaming gaggle of teenage girls would’ve been a bit frightening lol.
Also before she came out, a police man arrived to make sure nothing got out of hand which was awesome and he even exchanged numbers with her friend Cody in case they needed to be in touch during the rest of time they were there.
She told the fans she was in the area to see some friends (then I went to seeeee some friends of mine… down in Florence, Alabama!) I’m sure Lana Del Rey randomly popping up in Florence will be the talk of the town for years to come lmao x
 
Someone did ask why she reopened Honeymoon and she just giggled and said, “no reason!” Of course we know she has something bigger up her sleeve… x

This is at my friend's work and Lana stopped in and chatted with her coworkers. My friend unfortunately wasn't working today, which she's pretty gutted about, but this is so random!! They didn't ask why she was there, but I'm so curious.. she was literally in Quebec less than 24 hours ago. Birmingham is only 2 hours away from me here in Atlanta, so I'm manifesting she announces a surprise performance or something since she has two weeks until her next show in RI.
When she went to Paris, France and then Birmingham, Alabama in the span of a week... Paris, Texas alt version when??? Anyway, stream PT & I Talk to Jesus xx

Nobody wrote hate comments about you, nobody said you made Lana uncomfortable or nobody said you disrespected her here. Don't try to twist the narrative. It is just that the video is funny, not in a malicious way. You are petting her, it's funny and that's it. Nothing more, nothing less. Weird behaviour. There's a clear difference between a fan Lana followed before he later crossed a boundary and perhaps is now cautious to confront and plays it safe vs a fan who has always been respectful and has had Lana and her family publicly acknowledge and show love to continuously over the past ~6 years. You can always tell who's new to the fandom I guess xx

there are many songs she released that she never did live. her setlist choices range from predictable to bizzare with rarely great choices. it's not necessarily her biggest hits as it used to be, otherwise stuff like say yes to heaven and summer smashers like doin' time would be very good choices, but moreso she tends to go for what she, her band and her dancers already know such as white mustank, ultraviolence, pretty when you cry, cherry... flipside and bartender were cute to have, but they need axed too. the first 4 are only there because they are still safe, choreographed, already practised to death. but no one cares about these songs anymore... she could easily replace those 6 with actual smashes AND fresh choices like say yes to heaven, doin' time, the greatest, paris texas, taco truck x vb, dealer, maybe the blackest day, maybe an unreleased like meet me in the pale moonlight. some of these are not even my favourite songs from her, but people DO care about them. for the love of god i don't wanna hear that she is packing up her things for the summer anymore... 

This is what I'm saying we legit need a veteran Lipster rewards program cuz some of us are geriatric

to think 11/12 year olds are soon gonna begin to stan this woman and they werent even born when btd was released…
