I imagine that she would have wanted to re-record Cherry Blossom. It was produced in 2013 with Fabrizio Argiolas, and I don’t know if the recording that leaked would necessarily be cleared for official release, since the credits surrounding it seem to be so up-in-the-air with Fabrizio’s status as producer. I also think she would want a more recent recording - rather than one from over 8 years ago - for consistency reasons. I can’t wait to hear how it sounds on the record! 

Omg how cute!! Congrats!  I’m taking this as confirmation that both Thunder & Cherry Blossom are officially on the album!

Literally best album cover since at least lust for life. And also, the way this snippet cut off right before you CAN TELL IT GOES INTO THIS FUCKING DREAMY HEAVENLY CINEMATIC HOOK AND CHORUS. LANA I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR YOU.

The cover looks beautiful. It was wise of her to say “later later” and “soonish” rather than another date that passes with nothing to show for it. I believe she will deliver a great album when the time comes. The new song already sounds gorgeous.
