ya chemtrails is probably top 10 in her discography at this point 
 
ive listened to it probably at least 10 times a day since release and hasnt got old a bit 

and the "i'm not unhinged or unhappy, i'm just wiiiiild" is a MOMENT too. Mostly because I love that part in the video where she's driving 

i feel like such a main character when i belt this part out drunk in my bedroom alone

When she transitions from "I'm still so strange and Wiiiilllld" to "you're in the wind I'm in the waaaater", Windows f*ckin shatter. Walls crumble. Electrical currents disrupted. It's EVERYTHING  you just want to scream to the wind when she sings it out. We were never gonna be ready for this album!!!!

Fuck this album is going to blow everyone out of the water we truly know nothing about the soundscape  we might know the instruments and some of the descriptions but we don’t know anything about how it will be interpreted personally into our lives or even the impact it may have on us... lets start claiming tracks!

first of all... her songs dedicated to people: living legend, TLY, dance till we die
 
 
i also NEED to note that she's writing about her life when she was "only nineteen". this places the song in about 2005-2006, which is around when she lived on long island with her aunt and uncle, worked as a waitress (obviously), her uncle taught her to play guitar with those "six chords, and she wrote sirens.
 
sirens is such a beautiful, simple collection of work to me, and the voice and sound is so fragile, delicate, and peaceful. i imagine some of the songs on chemtrails to sound similar - and, considering that this album is folkier, has country-rooted, etc elements, is stripped down, i feel like it'll have tinges of sirens. also because she's writing ABOUT that time in her time when she learned to play guitar and started making music.
 
also note that some random critic said about sirens: "though her vocals are often weak and shaky, her tone sounds delicate and sweet on all these simple tracks". Many critics compared the album to something they would hear in a small-town coffee shop"... does that not sound like the weak and shaky trembling of white dress chorus as described by miss del rey herself?
 
she's pulling us back before everything, before AKA, before kill kill, before that sound. and that's not to say it won't have tinges of AKA. but the descriptions as stripped back, into the wild, country, folk, immediately bring sirens to mind 

Honeymoon was so polished and put together aesthetically and musically

I remember saying something similar when the Interview video released! And after watching that video a lot, listening to both singles and having tons of meltdowns I'm expecting a Honeymoon meets AKA type of album, that's the vibe I'm getting

Honestly I'm so hyped that I'm losing my mind...I kinda deserved a warning point though...I was wondering myself how I managed to be on this Boards for one and half year without getting a WP especially during some gates lol

Today I dreamed that finally lana on the 19th came out with the album and we all loved it, and tulsa jesus freak was in the top 100 of billboard lmao. Then lana went on a chemtrails tour and I was suddenly in a house with lana and he was super nice and treated us all super well. When I woke up I thought it was real and I was disappointed hahahhahha.

This is how hyped I am
