They were doing orchestra scoring so hopefully it’s a very epic song!

"It's just so funny. But quite honestly every known instrument is listed in the credits so like.. We love an orchestra"

see 8:00 + basically the entirety of this song lol. Sure it’s not straight up classical rock but it’s still a dreamy, warm, dense, droning, ethereal, nostalgic wall of sound. I don’t really expect this to change your mind cuz I’m this is shitposting but saying that the guitar in here is not good is just a weird hill to die on. I have some complaints about his production but electric guitar really isn’t one of them. Stop wanting the song to be bad because of one producer - it makes you look weird.

So mama really said I'm gonna feed my gays. She's starting the song with piano and acoustic guitars - the ladies who like their Lana sparse and minimalistic will be fed -, then she brings the orchestra with lush string arrangements - the Honeymoon ladies will be over the moon -, and then she adds electric guitars and drums and gives us a taste of the finest tracks on NFR mixed with pure Ultraviolence realness. You couldn't make this up!

Imagine having so much disdain for an album and era that yet again reshaped part of the music industry and opened a new chapter in Lana’s artistry. Jack isn’t a perfect producer and I know there are things he could’ve done better but Lana herself wanted NFR to sound exactly like it does and look at the album we got - a modern classic!

Jack is capable of a serve like Venice Bitch, so really it's just about hoping he pulls that energy out of wherever he got it from again

    ELECTRIC GUITARS???

Zach Dawes is a great producer and his latest collaboration with Drew Erickson gave us Black Bathing Suit so... this is exciting. I hope both of them have worked on several tracks. Antonoff working with them is an interesting twist. And Erickson is great with orchestral arrangements (IYLDWM and his latest work with Father John Misty, Weyes Blood, Angel Olsen say hi!)

Venice Bitch? How To Disappear/Wild at Heart? The way y’all are so quick to dismiss NFR and Jack like the music they produced isn’t absolutely unique and gorgeous.
