Sure it’s not straight up classical rock but it’s still a dreamy, warm, dense, droning, ethereal, nostalgic wall of sound. I don’t really expect this to change your mind cuz I’m this is shitposting but saying that the guitar in here is not good is just a weird hill to die on. I have some complaints about his production but electric guitar really isn’t one of them. Stop wanting the song to be bad because of one producer - it makes you look weird.

Imagine having so much disdain for an album and era that yet again reshaped part of the music industry and opened a new chapter in Lana’s artistry. Jack isn’t a perfect producer and I know there are things he could’ve done better but Lana herself wanted NFR to sound exactly like it does and look at the album we got - a modern classic!

I'm so glad Jack is involved. He loves his vocal production and he's not going to let Lana hit record, do one take, and call it a day.

Here is my interpretation: Ocean Boulevard represents Lana herself and the tunnel represents her feelings and subconscious. It's her way to say "On the outside I may look confident but everytime you talk shit about me,  my feelings are falling apart therefore i get to take a journey into my subconscious and try to figure out why things went this way. You may say that I don't care or whatever but I surely feel the pain inside me deeply. So yeah did you know all of that? Did you know that there's a tunnel under the Ocean Boulevard?"
