Every night, they bring her to an underground room, where she's forced to witness the masters she recorded that day thrown into a wrestling cage with 18 screaming macaques. When they're done ripping the tapes and shattering the hard drives, she's made to sweep up the pieces. If she does it quickly, her manager lets her have 18 minutes of screen time on her phone. She uses it to cryptically tweet old photos, hoping it will drum up enough noise to appease label execs. When she's done, she sleeps on a concrete slab. A small bottle of Jimmy Choo "Illicit" sits next to the air vent, reminding her of a branding partnership from a different time. While she sleeps, a goblin bleaches her roots."

....I don't know where this creative writing exercise came from but I hope I took you all to a place.

Something Sky loves to omit (and that she's been doing for awhile) is that her label has given her the green light numerous times to the point where she's in the mixing/mastering phase of her project her deadline to turn it in comes up and then she says she's being rushed and the project falls apart because the label refuses to give something they don't think will ever be turned in a release date and Sky doesn't want to give them any music because she thinks they'll just sit on it and never let her release it.

I’m fully prepared to drop everything to attend one of these ~secret~ shows. Once i fly across the country I’m sure it will be canceled or she will just show up late to perform a couple songs. But that’s part of the sky experience so I’ll get nothing and I’ll be grateful for it
