I had a dream last night that Lana posted the LDR9 announcement on her Instagram. I don't remember what the record was called, but it had a long title. It was set to come in a few months before the end of the year, don't remember exactly when. The album artwork was in the style of her Born to Die & Paradise covers with the text and posing and it was in colour. In the post's caption, she said it was a behind-the-scenes photograph taken while on set for a music video for a song from the album. She posted the backside with the tracklist, and the artwork for the back was black & white. The album was 13 tracks and had a few unreleased songs on it, the ones I remember were Hollywood which was the opening track and St Tropez & Kill Kill. The final track of the album was called 'The 13th Beach' and Lana said in the caption that it was her favourite song from the record and a continuation of 13 Beaches from Lust for Life. She said the meaning of the song was about going through the motions of life, overcoming adversity, giving up old vices, to eventually find a happy and comfortable place in life where she's now at. She also said she was excited to finally release Hollywood with the proper production.
That's about all I remember, but I also remember creating the official LDR9 Pre-Release Thread and everyone was freaking out over The 13th Beach's description.
I'll also say, nearly every time I remember a dream vividly, at least part of it comes true, even if it's a minor detail. Every time I've dreamt about a Lana album release ahead of time, something has indeed come true from it.. so we'll see

I came to realize that Lana actually foreshadowed whats to come - a turning point for herself since NFR until now. The way she leaves that glamourous lifestyle, fashion, face, body, etc. Dont get me wrong, she is still a beautiful woman right now, but we can see Lana has toned her outer side, the "look" down through times, she's now giving more of natural simple life woman beauty, not glamourous celebrity type of beauty - The kind of beauty that you have to take a deep look spiritually, not just a "look". It shows now that she is the kind of woman whos happy in the background of a photo and lets her friends shine, dont even care if the picture got her right angle or not (she even said this herself on an ig caption of a pic with Nikki as i remember).
This also shows us her music & sound direction as well: More about the realness of lyrics, instead of big, expensive production that we love from "Honeymoon" or "Born To Die". I can see she really wants to let the beauty of words shine, not the beauty of the production à la LDR9 was dubbed as a "conversational" / "wordy" album that she doesnt even describe it as a particular tone of color. And we can see after L4L era, she is more showing off her thoughts, her words, her points of view & her poetry. Hence "my life is my poetry, my love-making is my legacy" - Lana is just doing what she has said.
 
Lana does not change, she is more who she is than ever. So I dont care what anyone might doubt about LDR9 direction - I entrust my faith & love in her vision for this upcoming project. Because if its Lana, it just cant be less than greatness.

the past few days i’ve been watching the lfl recording sessions that lana filmed and im really hoping she does that again. it was so sweet to watch her figure out how everything would sound n what vocal takes and notes she liked. 

The W interview give me « darker side of Honeymoon » vibes to the new album  orchestral yet not as polished, angrier…

I just had another dream about LDR9 rollout & this is the third time of this year that i dreamt of Lanita putting out an album ( please help me with this obsession) 
 
Okay so in my recent dream, Lana actually release this album in very later later this year (i think it was a November release). The interesting part is: the album title has absolutely nothing to do with that abbreviated D.N.C phrase. I never saw the title clear in my dream, it was always the part that my brain decided to "blur" tf out, but the title sounds really bizzare and it's giving the "Norman Fucking Rockwell" ring  to the ears. I dont quite remember the album artwork but there are 5 alternate artworks & the whole era theme follows this color scheme. Another thing is, in my dream i was in the official album release day & my digital album was emailed to me. Then the crazy part is: When you download the zip file with the digital album that you purchase directly from her website, you'll GET ANOTHER ZIP FILE hidden inside and it was HER FUCKING UNRELEASED COLLECTION ALBUM - Yes, that 25-track best of unreleased album that she talks about in Amoeba, Hollywood back in 2017. And I saw BOZ confirmed on twitter that "this is what he couldnt believe that she's actually doing" - dropping 2 albums at the same time.
 
The dream was GIVING the most that reality could NEVER & i dont even want to wake up  My manifestation is going TOO FAR.
 

We as a fandom should manifest this into reality

Alright, I had another good night sleep and it gave me hope again to put on my clown makeup again (haha) and say that the W interview is the official start of the era, even if we don’t have an album name. I gathered where she revealed the album name through médias for previous eras I remembered. 
- UV: Tropico premiere, followed by Insta post (thanks, @takemetothegasstation)
-HM was it at an event or through an e-magazine? I do remember that she said she had a record named Music To Watch Boys To;
-LFL: the trailer I think?
-NFR: radio première of VB, one of the two first singles;
-Chemtrails: first mention of said record was through an e-magazine, NFR’s release day, saying she was working on the next album, not wanting to take a break. she casually let the title out in her QFTC post. I don’t even think it was meant to be revealed so soon. Interview magazine, with an official photoshoot, gave us more insights on the project, which was revealed Labor Day Weekend; LMLYLAW followed in October. 
-BB: Insta post with Picsart in April. Triple single release in late May. It was renamed after her Insta post of RCS, the day after COCC was released. 
so… no, we don’t have an album name yet. But why do a printed magazine interview, with professional photoshoot, mentioning the album if it wasn’t coming sonner rather than later? Keep in mind though that the music industry is having a hard time with their schedule (every damn artist recorded during the pandemic and vinyl supply chains can’t meet demand - didn’t Lana herself said it took now five months for vinyls to be made? We’re far from the 90-day period between finishing an album and release, in the LFL era), but I think a single before end of summer is realistic. She’s been real quiet in the past weeks, before her trip, and Jack is going back on tour. Plus the interview gave me the impression that the direction of this album was set and has been only « recently »; before that, last year and early winter, she was maybe more casually recording?

I think the suggested writer’s block won’t impact LDR9 very much considering she’s taking a new approach to songwriting on this record via automatic singing.
 
I think that—because of how extremely diaristic her recent works have been—she simply needs more life experiences to continue to fuel that more autobiographical style. 
 
Because of this, I expect LDR9‘s darker songs’ writing to resemble LA Who Am I To Love You, whereas the happier tracks may be more similar to the nonsensical (in a good way) ramblings of songs like Venice Bitch. 
 
I have a feeling LDR9 will contain some of her best lyrical moments but potentially some not-so-well-received ones because of how impromptu the composition of the record sounds. 
 
Either way, I’m super excited. I feel like this record will have the detached, almost philosophical overtones of Honeymoon but will perhaps lack the saturation of Lanaisms and grandeur. 
 
We’ll see!

With what's being said about the album so far through Lana and Jack it sounds nothing like COCC/BB (sonically) so I am excited

My favorite part of the lead-up period of an album is watching the aesthetic world slowly come to life, and I don't know why, but this one seems like it's gonna be really fulfilling

so far, this album is giving me bartender, fine china, religion, & talking like an answering machine vibes (i know it hasn’t leaked but it feels correct)  with a breezy, honeymoon-esque atmosphere, & the luscious darkness of paradise
