people are already starting to dismiss a&w saying that people are only liking it because it's different than the piano ballads she's been making since 2019 and i have to disagree. like even if it was only the american whore part it honestly still would be in my top 10 or somewhere around there. the melodic work, lyrical content and production is just too good

There is such an urgency to A&W, it's the most riveting song she's ever done I think 
 
There's actually an urgency to both songs we have that's really interesting, like she needs to tell these stories  I am so excited for this album

that vid is fake as f bc they showed the entire case back&front (an old one they filled w the ocean blvd imagery, w a black & white filter over it at that cuz lord knows their printer couldn’t carry the color / it’s on A4 paper) yet not the disc itself #giveaway & also when they showed their cd player playing the supposed "snippet" at the v beginning you can see the slightest crack before they close the lid & the disc appears to b white.. which it isn't, that cd variant has a pink disc
 
& as other users have pointed out they legit wasted their moms saran wrapalso it sounded like summertime sadness intro mashed up with something else

if you hop into your Land Rover/Toyota, you have a 1 hour trek from Arcadia to Jergins Tunnel, 12 of those minutes being between Rosemead & the nearest Ramada ..
there is also a DoubleTree by Hilton nearby & it's still part of Rosemead whereas the Ramada is not, it is in South El Monte

Does anyone else think that Lana is talking about herself when she sings about someone’s mom calling in the Jimmy part of A&W? I was just looking at the lyrics again and I noticed she followed the “Your mom called, I told her, you're fuckin' up big time” line with “But I don't care, baby, I already lost my mind” line. In this line, she’s using the first person pronoun so does that mean she’s referring to herself? Is it Jimmy telling her that her mother called and he was telling her that Lana is fucking up, I’m assuming her life, reputation, maybe career? I mean it would make sense because she’s referencing her estranged relationship with her mother in the beginning. 
 
Also, does anyone remember that interview she did years ago when she was asked about her parents’ reactions to that line in Cola and she said her father thought it was funny while her mother was upset about it?

why do people never ask important questions like will there be any music videos, what does DNC stand for, will there be a tour etc
