I never thought I'd say I want the weekend to be over but I need Wednesday to be NOW 

I really like the past 2 albums sonically but I missed having real "eras" (even though Lana probably doesn't treat her album cycles like big events). She seems so excited teasing little things like posting that Neil picture 
I don't remember the last time she was like that regarding her releases, she used to just either post a random date or 10 snippets in her car  so it's really interesting 

Not really sure how to interpret or compute the information we've gotten this morning.
 

this is all so exciting with her website down i think we’re getting the whole album announcement on wednesday which is just so  i don’t think i’ve been this excited for one of her records since NFR BOZ’s teasing has got me so pumped for seeing what the vibe of the record is i can’t wait  with all the new exposure she’s gotten we might just have LANA WORLD DOMINATION 2023 like she’s always deserved  between this SZA and Caroline we really are about to be fed female excellence over the next few months 

I trust Lana and I believe in her musical choices 

every cell of my body is ready for the cultural reset we're about to witness

But in all seriousness, I’m not going to have my friend harass my old hairdresser about LDR9  I don’t even know if he’ll be working the day she goes in for her appointment (or if he even keeps up with recent Lana stuff for that matter.) Plus, I'm pretty sure her appointment is the 6th, which is the day before the announcement, so I’m sure anything of interest will be revealed then! I’m so excited  

Very beautifully written and agreed with both albums; Chemtrails was supposed to be this otherworldy declaration of love kinda record until the two split (see Text Book + Blue Banisters) and she was torn while working on both albums at the same time and decided to split the Jack songs from the other songs 'cause the folk soundscape was already set and the overall lyrical content of songs already written during the production of Chemtrails like Black Bathing Suit and Dealer (yes she did contemplate putting it on Chemtrails). Whatever this next chapter is musically and thematically, i know it's gonna blow us all away 

I keep forgetting there's gonna be a FJM collab on the record too  literally 8? years of hopes and dreams in the making since he was in the Freak music video id love if it sounded like Unidentified Flying Bill x Buddy's Rendevouz and maybe something like When You're Smiling and Astride Me the jazzy vibe fits them both so well 

All I’m gonna say is that given Lana has basically said nothing about this album it’s because she has a masterpiece in her hands

i wonder how much she's aware that the next record might be a new start of a cycle career wise. blue banisters was a great closer for everything she's created so far, and from my intuitive guess, rockafella just reminds me so much of BTD's activeness. I wonder what kind of growth she'll share from the album. 

I hope the new album's romantic. and feels like wine. 

she probably had another copy of the album but the laptop also had videos she was working on & drafts of her 2nd poetry book which are now indeed lost so the losses of those have potentially inspired her to redo everything
i know that we all love to speculate and be delusional in the thread but in all seriousness i think that the theft really set back the album promotion a lot more than some of us think and i think that's why she told us in the first place
i don't think we're gonna be getting anything until at least february

oh well i sure hope her psychic suggests it lol

Plz I’ve been wanting an Aquarius album for so long (mostly just because my birthday is also in February lol)
 
That being said, I sometimes wonder if she’s ever thought of coordinating release dates with their respective astrological signs.
 
Aquariuses are sometimes characterized as being rebellious, peculiar, free-spirited, intellectually minded, etc. Sounds like the perfect combo for an angry record with automatic lyricism

This reminded me that I saw somewhere recently that umbrellas in Rockefeller were actually a thing ??? I thought it was just for the rhyme but they used to have a lot of colorful ones for the outdoor restaurants

He doesn't deserve hate  but I don't thing he got any... just people following him and asking about Lana (of course someone could have been mean to him in the dms or something).
What's clear is that he likes the attention. If he really wanted to stay "hidden" he would have removed all the new followers and then go private so nobody could access his tweets. And he even posted more acronyms saying "since you like acronyms" or something like that so he knows people are reading

After thinking further about my December release thoughts last night, I've decided that the album is being surprise released December 16th 
 
She's always wanted to do a surprise release, so maybe she convinced the label that right before Christmas is actually the perfect time to make a splash since no one else is releasing music, and it will leave enough time to become the perfect Christmas gift. People also get over the constant Christmas music and family time and will need the escape that this masterpiece will provide.

Alternatively, she will surprise release American Standards. It was originally promised for Christmas, and it's something that the whole family could listen to together over the holidays.

I want to know why the fuck BOZ was complaining about a fandom being rude to someone if this man can't shut the fuck up about Lana's album. He deserves the hate. He wants attention. 

There is no way she got a ‘Venice Bitch’ inspired jacket custom made, wore it at a highly public event, and it meant nothing.
 
It might not mean anything at this point because it was a year ago and we know how much she changes her mind, but it had to be music or possibly poetry related. Eclipse trolled months ago and said it was her favorite song, but it’s possible he was just kidding

He technically never said it would have anything to do with the album, just that it might show up on merch in the future 

It “might” be included in merch solely because Lana wore it.. not because it’s related to anything LDR9
