I think he was only saying that because earlier in the same post he talked about how Taylor and Lana broke records with SOTB. Let’s not forget the whole “album()” post he did around the Blue Banisters release and people were convinced she was double dropping an album. Ben posts things just to post them at this point, he’s Lana jr

I was thinking, why would Ben imply that the album is a solo album? It doesn't make any sense to do that. I want to be a bit delusional and believe that the album has a collaboration and only said so that we will be in for a surprise when the tracklist is revealed. I feel he was trying to distract us.  

At this point is basically confirmed that BOZ listened to her album and Lana saying "it's not coming yet" is probably because they have to wait some months for the vinyl pressings.
 
Neil teasing something coming also lines up with an announcement or single in the near future. After the Weyes stuff we know that he likes to hype up his work with other artists and not just his own photography 

It's been confirmed that the album is done so I think next year

I know you’re not just addressing me, but what I said was that the initial thief who broke into her car may not have known who’s car they were breaking into when they shattered the windows and took whatever of the car’s contents they did take; it may have been the person who bought the laptop ‘hot’ that was the in-the-know person, or even the second buyer, if there was one.
 
Someone with very little to lose would be more likely to smash a car’s windows, because if caught or photographed doing so, there would be virtually no risk to their livelihood, if they were arrested at all under today’s laws regarding theft. Police in Los Angeles might just let the person go if the thief was determined to be homeless or addicted, or both. 
 
It might also be that if LDR has a determined stalker, she or he paid someone with very little to lose to commit the actual theft. 
 
It still seems odd to me that a Lana-savvy person ended up with the laptop one way or another but has leaked nothing that any of us are aware of. If they will do anything else with it, time will tell.

I think she just said it as a joke because there are always these delivery problems

I know that it's not Lana's fault that I'm bored because I have like 2 assignments to finish and stuff but like, mmm, the only thing that could take me out from my boredom cocoon would be an album announcement or a surprise single released... Today. 

Just like when she posts random dates on her IG for an album, she hadn’t checked with her company if it was even a possibility. 
Let’s not jump the gun here  its Nov 1st 2022.

Yeah there's no way it comes out this year. All the clues lead to LDR9 being finished around late September or early October so the earliest we could get it would be February I guess.
 
If they have a preliminary date for the album I don't see why she wouldn't release at least one single before the year ends tho... 
The snow ❄️ song probably delayed a bit the rollout start but I think enough time has passed already and they knew beforehand it would happen anyway.
 
Another possibility is that she wants to release everything close together and the rollout will start next year but she usually puts out a song some time before the album is even announced so I don't know why that would change now (also a longer preorder would mean more potential sales and we know Interscope wants that)

unfortunately, 2022 Lana would release the song as a piano ballad, maybe some light orchestra if we’re lucky  

i feel like everyone misunderstood her. she never said she was not going to release vinyls for her next album, just that she wished ahe was allowed to release digitally ahead of the vinyls like other artists get to (but there was also the added implication that she is not allowed to release digitally first since vinyls are so important to her first week sales so even that would not happen) but i do wish she was allowed to release digitally first with vinyls later bc it really is not fair that most artists get to do that and she does not especially since this far into her career first week sales should not matter to her label.

She did! But in the next breath she also said she wouldn’t be able to (or something similar to that)

Didn't Blue Banisters have shipment fiasco where the vinyls shipped later so they didn't count as first week sale. They should just let her do whatever she wants.

I always like to look at what is the trend right now, when it comes to marketing / physical copies before making speculation as what she should do. 
although the offer can’t supply demand when it comes to vinyls and with higher risks of leaks because of physical copies being sent, many big names decided not to surprise drop / digital release only for day one for their latest release. Taylor and Beyoncé are both good examples. 
so, I don’t think Interscope would be too enthousiastic at the idea of a digital release on week one since physical copies count in a good proportion in the numbers of week one. 
but hey, who knows anymore? 2022 is already her biggest year ever when it comes to streams with almost no new releases from her.
