why are we discussing Lana’s management in the pre release thread? shouldn’t this be moved the random Lana conversation? the arguing is tired and annoying.

The same collection of users seem to make the same obsessive comments over and over and over and over about what Lana shouldn't be doing with her career and declaring her projects a flop before they have even been officially released.....with all of the ideas and multiple essays and obsessive critiques I think these people should honestly apply to work at her record label! I'm sure you will be able to come up with some very creative and interesting cover letters and then when you get the job you will finally have an outlet to share your excellent ideas!
 
I really liked the Guardian review. The guy who wrote it also wrote Pitchfork's Best New Music blurb for A&W. I would hardly call an album getting 4/5s across the board a flop or a poorly reviewed album, LOL.

well then I have to say I'm glad Lana's management doesn't do things that way. she obviously is with them specifically for *that* reason. nothing goes out with her say & while I get especially for a celebrity in the limelight a certain "image" can matter and be important, i feel like we are very lucky to have her authenticity even if its messy at times. shes a human being too before everything else and its okay for her to act like one
 
to me managers are more like supporters who help with promoting n marketing *the artists* vision , plan any events around it, tours etc. but whatevaaaa

I don’t even think her insta post is meant as a snub at critics…  

btw some of you get flames in your eyes everytime there's occasion to bring your negativity shit  it's not even an opinion, you just want to fight.

yeah except thats not what he said lmfao.. a week ago when The Grants came out he specifically said that Ben & Ed shouldn't have "let" her go with it as the 3rd single... n now that they shouldn't "let" her make instagram comments???? what do either of those things have to do with Ben and Eds actual job??? 
 
I have no problem with someone saying "Ben & Ed don't do their job well" but dont get it twisted, their job isn't policing Lanas every move or deciding how she releases the music she, not they, created imo.

can we please ban it from the thread? i'm sorry mods but this should not be allowed in the name of "everyone has an opinion and free speech" when it's just FLAMEBAIT. this is the type of energy that ruins the mood of this forum and makes long time members leave or not participate in pre-releases... 

literally every time you don't agree with something Lana does, even something as simple as her choices for singles or leaving a comment on instagram you bring up how her managers are the problem for "letting" her do it. as if they have/deserve this sort of power over her anyway... she is a grown adult woman with autonomy and thank God for that. no one owns her and no one ever will or should. these comments are getting borderline creepy and misogynistic, please check yourself for once thx.
