With you. No Yosemite nor Cherry Blossom slander in this household. Eternal faves.

I dreamed she gave us a psychedelic trip hop masterpiece song that was 7 minutes long and she was wailing and scatting and there was so much reverb and the music video switched between black and white and these luscious pink-purple-teal-orange trippy shots.

i didn’t actually dream it but im manifesting it

I wouldn't be mad about this. In fact, this might just be my ideal next record from her.

She couldn't care less about charts and the Ocean Blvd singles would have charted if she released them on a Friday. But it makes no sense to care about charts as a Lana fan anyway

Idk if realism can apply to speculation over an unreleased/unannounced album. Pls leave rationality at the log in page and join me in welcoming Rick Nowles as LDR 10’s main producer

Terrence Loves You is my favorite Lana song, so I'm excited.

Terrence Loves You = "it's jazzy"

Lana spending 3 weeks in Nashville before her tour doesn't mean that suddenly all music she has recorded over the past year is country
She didn't even record country in that Alabama recording studio recently.

Not sure why ppl are saying “country album”. It’s clear to me based on this:

That Rick has the tea. And obviously, based on the lyrics he chose to highlight here, the tea is that LDR X will be a jazz/blues album with flourishes of hip/trip-hop courtesy of Rick. Case closed

I actually feel so bad for Rick, he’s been trying so hard to get lana’s attention so she can work with him again   especially this year, I really hope they work together again

On one hand I want LDRX to be something special, something that would cement her as one of the most influential artists in the 21st century music industry, but on the other hand I want LDRX to be an experimental album where she explores all of the music genres (kinda like her first few albums where she was just trying stuff out), just so we can see what she's capable of pulling off.
Also I want a song of similar nature to Another lonely day / Playground.
I don't think that someone could describe my inner opinions about unreleased lana songs so accurately as this:

That's how i felt about Blue Banisters. Thought she winged the whole record. But OB - minus a few tracks that could have been cut - was a welcome return to form. Songs like Ocean Boulevard will only appreciate with time, and age like fine wine.

serial killer, hollywood, ridin', driving in the cars with boys, red ridin' hood, etc etc.

basically, lana unreleased is a whole other artist in itself that could end in another 10 records. And we havent even heard everything she's got

    she's a tour de forcr

Ready for LDR10 to be a rap album....

No songs that sound a great deal like previously released songs.

I know I am in the minority, but 4/5ths of OB didn't work for me, and I don't care at all for most of the production. OB has been the first LDR album that made me feel almost tired of her—for the first time EVER.

Nonetheless, I will accept whatever she does next, and if I don't care for it, that's on me.

Indeed! It’s kinda insane how incredible pop-ish hits (or at least songs that could have been hits) she left on the cutting room floor: Cry Kill Die, Serene Queen, Queen of Disaster, etc.

Listening to Tori Amos’ “Abnormally Attracted to Sin” album, and I would most definitely die if Lanita cooked anything in the vein of it. Magical, transgressive, hazy…

    Zodia track 2

Also tonight I got a vision she put a finalized version of Crazy For You on the album or maybe on the unreleased album

Manifesting some electric guitar, not in the sense of wanting an UV 2.0 but an electric guitar riff never hurt no one, that's why it's alright

    The delusions still going strong

I'm so conflicted with what I want Lana to do next on LDRX, specially with Ocean as the starting reference since it had so many different elements

I love the experimental side of Ocean Blvd, even the upbeat songs were crazy (Peppers is a mess of sounds in a good way) and I'd love to hear Zodiac (and other "chaotic" songs like that) on the next record but I also love the crystal clear vocals and "tidy" production of her earlier work and the last album piano samples and orchestral tracks

I wonder if we're getting a mix of all that in the next album(s) too since it seems what's most natural for Lana lately, just write and produce around the mood of the song instead of having a whole album in mind (while still having somewhat cohesive records at least thematically)

She's been using the Lizzy Grant visuals alot this year, so a new album full of Kill Kill, Gramma, QOTGS would be absolutely gorgeous and I can see it performing comercially better than BB/Chem

songs that are very short (1-2 minutes) exist because of pathetic, corporate tiktok trends since apparently nowadays people don't have the attention span for anything longer than 2 minutes, we don't want that, we want lana to continue making art that's for the purpose of actually creating something artistic and meaningful, not for money or mainstream attention... also longer songs are just simply the best, some of my favorite songs from many artists are long songs, i feel like it's because the artist has to actually make the song especially good, if the song is 8 minutes long, it has to prove itself worthy of being that long

idk i just fucking love long songs

edit: not saying that short songs CAN'T be good or made solely for the purpose of just creating art, obviously many demos are short, and many songs from the 50s and 60s were short, probably because of limits in technology or how much music could be on a vinyl
