But honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if she thought the “reaction” to her first announcement during the Grammy’s event was “too tepid” (she said something in that regard) and decided to go back to the drawing board. 
 
Also, I’m not saying she necessarily cares all that much, but since the Lasso announcement we got “Beyoncé going country” and I think there are definitely going to be lots of think pieces around Lana and Beyoncé’s respective approaches to “going country” and I could see her wanting to avoid that. Altho I think that’s inevitable from the media regardless of how soon or far away the album release is…

I know a lot of people don’t like it but her recent performances of West Coast really invigorated my love for that song again and I’ve been listening to it on repeat since Coachella  idc if she’s not singing, the live instrumental is godly and she’s serving cvnt the whole time and that makes up for it.
overall though I’ve been on a huge Ultraviolence kick lately, after taking a break from it the last few years and I feel like I can relate to it a whole lot better now than when I was younger

I can’t imagine she was just hanging around with Quavo and got a couple shots, because there are 3 different outfits, at least 2 different locations, and her hair and makeup were both professionally done!

Cute little fun fact about this shoot - she's wearing a pair of Keds that a fan custom-made for her and gave to her at a concert in 2019! According to the fan, this is the first time she'd seen Lana wearing them since giving them to her. I think it's soooo sweet that Lana holds onto the gifts that we give her even after so many years x
