I agree. And if someone said it was 16 tracks I would be happy with that too haha. I mean obviously you know I love TTPD which has gotten the “bloated” argument a million times. But my comment was more for the people who are dissapointed it isn’t some 18+ track long mega album lol (which I find funny considering how many people on here accused Taylor of being “greedy” for releasing a double album…. but that’s not the point). I think a shorter album can be an indication of more thought out tracklist and picking the best of the best.

I’ll accept 13 tracks IF it means her psychedelic surf rock trip hop masterpiece 20-track album is out within 14 months….

Tbh I don’t completely get this argument, I don’t want 30+ songs like some of my faves, but I’ll never say no to 16 tracks. That just gives me more content to possibly enjoy and if I don’t like a track or two (which happens on every album) I still have plenty of songs to fall back on, COTCC had 11 songs and I don’t love three of them so that leaves me with 8 tracks to enjoy.
 
IDK I get not wanting an album to be bloated but I’ll also take as many songs as possible just for the variety

Im not expecting anything Lasso-related on her Boston show TBH… unless, maybe, Tough is released around that date and Quavo is invited to collab with her?  But hey, look at me being so delulu, after Hyde Park last year, I shouldn’t have such high hopes

the way I’m not even like super antsy for the album and the only reason I care so much is because we know it’s coming next soon eventually. If she hadn’t announced it I would still think we’re a year away from new music since ocean just came out last year 

I don't find the silence worrying cause Ocean was also basically radio silence (we knew it existed and we had some vague BOZ teasers about an album he loved) and she announced it out of the blue.
If she didn't reveal it in that random event it would have been a total surprise

I had a Lasso related dream last night.
A song from Lasso called "Panirdin" was in her top 5 Spotify songs. I have no clue what this word means, I googled it immiadetly after I woke up but found nothing. So I guess it's some new word creation. I spend like 15 minutes figuring what it could potentially mean and I came up with Panic In Rosemead Diner but yeah whatever
Then I saw another song titled Water Eyes but it was not the Watercolor Eyes song we have, it was something new
Henry, Come On was 3:38 minutes long and I also remember the song lengths 4:01 and 5:32 but I forgot to which songs those belong

I feel like when she posts snippets usually they’re the final song, the only exception I can think of is Happiness Is A Butterfly, but she teased that almost 2 years before the album so it was bound to change it
