So in the last few pages, people had a tussle about feminism, and Jack promoted his "music"?

    Video seems less severe now...

Yes the video shows rape acts

no, Lana nor the creators promote rape, i think it just shows how dark and uncomfortable/unforgettable stimulation rape can be.  That video do not looked fun or Hawt

Many parts of the world *cough US cough* hold rape as taboo i.e a difficult topic to discuss because... Of comments like these

yall need to chill sometime btw

I feel like if Lana died you'd use the occasion to plug your own music.

Let me get you a ladder to help you with that reaching before this gets any more pitiful.

The ONLY thing I have found TRULY disturbing in this ENTIRE scenario are the reactions (not just here, but also twitter and tumblr) that say

"wow, I want to get raped now"
"wow, lana looks so fucking hot"
    "Yas she looks incredible"
    "this makes rape look hot"
    "this rape looks so *~*glamorous*~*"
"wow, this is weird but Lana looks so good"
"Wow, I wish Eli Roth would rape me"
"wow I would fuck Eli Roth"
    "wow I would fuck Lana"
"wow I wish I could rape Lana"
"wow I would love to recreate this scene with Lana"
"wow, I would love to recreate this scene with Eli"

    WHAT

THESE REACTIONS MAKE ME WANT TO BREAK THE INTERNET.

The only thing disturbing is people on Tumblr captioning gifs and edits of a rape scene with Lana's questionable lyrics.

Oh great. First Lana "promoting" actual rape and now you promoting Random Acts of  Violence and Rape  against our hearing ability. Maybe Beethoven would love to hear this like Stevie Wonder would love to see Eli's video

I ended up reading Lolita (and seeing both films, and cultivating an unhealthy obsession with the whole thing in general) after becoming a fan of Lana. I'd always been curious, but I'd never really gone off the deep end until then.

So yeah, there's that. I also found my favorite film ever thanks to a fanmade video for the Carmen acapella demo.

Interesting that it's not being used for promotional purposes; implies a certain maturity in her "soundtrack career" if that makes sense. <3

I don't understand how some y'all can say Lana would be so happy he mentioned her, especially in the fucking context he mentioned her in. Yeah, I know, she idolizes him, but hearing someone you love say they would punch you in the face is not very complimenting or flattering. The only way I see Lana being remotely happy about this is because he said her name. If I was Lana I would be embarrassed to have my name used in such a vile line though.

Like I said in a post before, the line is fucked up and it would still be if someone else had said it.

It probably wasn't anything personal towards Lana, but it still promotes domestic violence towards women and still makes a joke about the Ray Rice incident which is wrong.

So turns out Eminem is still doing this whole "edgy white dude" gig he's had going on since the 1700s. We done yet?

I guess someone had to take "I'm tryna hit Lana Del Rey is what I'm sayin'" to the next level, though.
