pin up galore in general has a spooky, ominous vibe, but v2 (which basically does the same thing as wayamaya v2, layered laptop demo vocals) elevates it, that extra synth starting at "i have a disco-ball mind" is magnificent

It's not really creepy or anything but the instrumental of Wolf (the demo) has a very hauting and chilling vibe, much better than the final imo.
 
Also I think Waimea V2 is kinda scary?? idk those edited vocals are definitely something

So apparently Rob and Lana made a song called Sunshine for Ocean Blvd (or Lost At Sea) but it was scrapped but he said it's probably going to end up in the next project 
 
I have to read the whole thing to see the context cause I only saw a couple of tweets but it's funny how we already know about 2 Ocean outtakes 

Yeah as much as I love every album of hers and I'd definitely take another Ocean-like record... I kinda miss her more "conceptual" albums. I don't know if we're getting one of those ever again tho cause it seems like she now just writes and writes and then puts her favorite cuts together to form a record  (which works tho, Ocean Blvd was varied in sound while thematically cohesive but the songs don't live in the same universe if it makes sense )
 
We know it was kinda deliberate in the past (cause she mentioned she used to world build her albums) but I wonder if she really made the effort or if it came naturally like the religious imagery/themes during Paradise/Tropico/pre UV. Maybe she just really like that in that period and it was less of an active effort to "write about Jesus and Mary" 
 
After this last album I'm not that scared about collabs anymore cause she nailed them this time but I also prefer solo Lana

yeah because lana told him to obviously? its not like he maliciously took the song and made lana change thw lyrics and tone the instrumental down. its not the first time the final version of one of her songs is drastically different from the demo. who are we gonna blame for changing beautiful people beautiful problems? rick nowels?

Btw has anyone ever managed to decipher what she's saying in that first part? I can hear cinnamon and cinema but the rest just sound like gibberish to me 

Not necessarily unpopular but A&W being two songs in one is what makes it so good, genuinely don't understand people who say it should've been separate songs
