I just finished “my year of rest and relaxation” by Ottessa Moshfegha cause all the tiktok girlies told me too. It was interesting, just not what I expected

i’ve been saying this since a month after Blue Banisters came out, i have the gut feeling that this album is going to be Lana’s true magnum opus, like the essential Lana album that people talk about and reference first when discussing her artistry and impact in 50 years. idk why I think this especially because i haven’t been the biggest fan of her more recent work but I just have the feeling  and no i’m not one of those people who says that about every album

I think it’ll be just as iconic but possibly more iconic tbh. I don’t think we’re ready guys

All of Lana's title tracks go hard as hell and it's hard to even rank them.

i wish she expanded more on the pop/hip-hop sound of LFL (NOT the BTD sound, songs like summer bummer and groupie love are what i want to hear) onto another album.

Songwriting wise... Get Free >>> hope

    Finally
Gone is the burden of the Crowley way of being
    That comes from energies combined
    Like my part was I
    Was not discerning
And you, as we found out
Were not in your right mind

There's no more chasing rainbows and hoping for an end to them
Their arches are illusions, solid at first glance
But then you try to touch them
There's nothing to hold on to
The colours used to lure you in
And put you in a trance

That part is hands down some of the best songwriting in her entire discography.

Not her per se, but Tanya from White Lotus is definitely hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have

Well, it's really upsetting, at this point I wish she would just vent and throw it all on social media. She has been vocal about it all over her past interviews and posted that video wanting to release Descending but it isn't enough. SHOW YOUR FACE ON A VIDEO AND SPEAK ABOUT IT.

Between Capitol & Sky, I feel like it doesn't matter who's right or wrong, I wish they could move on with it because there are some people that actually care about her music.

But anyway, I'm on a point that (sadly) I'll enjoy what she had released and will be looking foward to leaks, even tho to me, they aren't enough & feels like we're not getting any.
