It's also super weird cause Live or Die was on the sampler but she was also pitching that song to Rita Ora    It's all confusing

thanks! yeah btd really had gone through a lot and while we have 0 information about the earlirst drafts with a sound like kinda outtake luck, driving in cars with Boys, you can be the boss, velver crowbar etc, i Just put them in one folder but for sure they are not true outtakes from btd that is released (id consider only emile hynies ones aka damn you, hollywood dead final + probably some unknown yet stuff), i really believe there is a draft with some early demos of released songs (National Anthem demo or diet Mountain dew demo f. e) and songs like kinda outta luck, live or Die etc. from a sampler, hope i gonna find it sooner than later

I mean we do have the BTD sampler list sent to the guardian so we have a good idea of a large proportion of outtakes such as Paris

I would say yes but also no... because Lana was working with producers all over London just to get her name out there, I would say every song worked between 2010-mid 2011 were all for a potential nameless album, demos for other artists to record, "just for fun" songs, and songs created specifically to send to labels.

I don't think it's really possible to tell which would be for what so "Born To Die outtakes" is the best way to categorize it even if it's not 100% accurate

I don't think you could really count any pre-London songs as BTD outtakes unless she was reworking it (ex. Diet Mountain Dew)

We don't know if these were ever in serious consideration for the album, but I would consider them BTD outtakes/sessions, yes. Some were even done with people who worked on released album tracks

they're not btd outtakes (from what lanapedia and sources like the Guardian sampler have to say), but theres like 70 songs from 2010-2011 that you can make a lot of albums with og BTD album names

And this has just confused everything once again  Boz stated that paradise and tropico songs were not for the same project

It's the laptop demo as the original didn't have an instrumental. Its verses are from Television Heaven, so I felt right to put it after television heaven as an outro, and it leads right into BBM Baby which is a fun switchup from acapella into synthy pop

But all of this (along with the very confusing timeline) still sounds like speculation. 💀

This is the album tracklist and cover I made. It's cover is inspired by the Julie London album "Julie is Her Name", because both that album, and my Lana album include a cover of Cry Me A River

Have been meaning to make a back cover for a physical version with the tracklisting, and I would highlight either in text (interlude), or by colour that Coca Colla an Hangin' Around are interludes

Ive been doing a project of this for a while,
I have about 25-30 tracks that can basically be confirmed to be BTD outtakes, which is one album.
The World Is Ours is about 17 tracks; Afraid, Breaking My Heart, Queen of Disaster, Caught You Boy, Never Let Me Go, Television Heaven (Coca Colla as an interlude), BBM Baby, My Best Days, Resistance, Every Man Gets Hish Wish, I Want it All (og National Anthem demo), Dreamgirl, Fake Diamond, Back To The Basics, Hangin Around, and her cover of Cry Me A River. I also included the demos of Afraid, BBM, Fake Diamond, and EMGHW as bonus tracks. I'm gonna make about 2 more, and im gonna make them into cds

An album sampler containing 'nearly 19' tracks intended for Born to Die was sent to The Guardian. They reviewed it in an article from May 13, 2011.

Full album sampler tracklist (from Lana Wiki):
    - "Are You Ready?"
    - "Blue Jeans"
    - "Born to Die"
    - "Carmen"
    - "Diet Mountain Dew"
    - "Driving in Cars with Boys"
    - "Hey Lolita Hey"
    - "Hundred Dollar Bill"
    - "Kinda Outta Luck"
    - "Live or Die"
    - "Million Dollar Man"
    - "National Anthem"
    - "Paris"
    - "Puppy Love"
    - "Put the Radio On"
    - "This Is What Makes Us Girls"
    - "Video Games"
    - "You Can Be the Boss"

There's obviously still a lot more Born to Die sessions/outtakes recorded from 2008-2011 that weren't included on The Guardian's album sampler. For example, she had ten tracks available for streaming on her SoundCloud page on May 30, 2010 including both demos of album tracks and songs that were ultimately scrapped from the album. Dates listed next to the titles are SoundCloud upload dates.
    - "On Our Way" (March 22, 2010)
    - "Hundred Dollar Bill" (March 22, 2010)
    - "Velvet Crowbar" (March 22, 2010)
    - "Us Against the World" (March 22, 2010)
    - "Kinda Outta Luck" (March 22, 2010)
    - "You Can Be the Boss" (March 22, 2010)
    - "Diet Mountain Dew" (May 19, 2010)
    - "Off to the Races" (May 22, 2010)
    - "Put the Radio On" (May 22, 2010)
    - "Carmen" (May 23, 2010)

This is a concept tracklist I made for 'G.B.A. God Bless America' a while ago.

I might recreate this old concept on photoshop and post it on lanaboards  i know you want something original but i wanted to share mine to give u some inspo

id love to see a concept for born to die using 'Take Me To Paris' and 'French Restaurant', i think a really cool storyline could be developed there! songs like diet mountain dew, video games, radio, dreamgirl, on our way, million dollar man and queen of disaster would really fit this vision. just some ideas for ya hope they help. cant wait to see what u cook up

So this is not meant as a "create a tracklist with whatever songs you like". I'm planning a little fun graphic and audio design project where I want to put a BTD album together that is more 1.0 (if you consider the final album to be a 2.0 or whatever else). The idea comes from the various scrapped tracks we know where on the album at one point plus the scrapped album titles.

I want you to help me create a somewhat realistic tracklist as the base for the project. So scrapping Blue Jeans and Videogames doesn't make much sense to give you an example. Which final tracks, which scrapped or demo tracks do you think could have been on a former version of the album? Back when titles like "The Revenge of Lana Del Rey" and "Do U Luv Me Yet?" where actual possibilities and where her sound was a bit more pop. Tracks like Driving in Cars or Serial Killer come to mind. Pls keep in mind that leaked tracks must be in decent quality and sound production.

Lmdr_Covers and Trash Magic have created tracklists before. Maybe as an inspiration I will post theirs here:

LMDR_COVERS - "The Revenge Of Lana Del Rey"

Roses / Kinda Outta Luck / National Anthem / You Can Be The Boss / Off To The Races / Serial Killer / Us Against The World / On Our Way / Caught You Boy / Diet Mnt Dew / Million Dollar Man / Videogames

TRASH MAGIC - "Do U Luv Me Yet?"

Prom Song / Us Against The World / Serial Killer / Put The Radio On / National Anthem / Million Dollar Man / Backfire / Velvet Crowbar / Last Girl On Earth / Videogames / TV In Black And White / On Our Way

Soo, Emile worked with Lana on only one song on L4L... and she hasn't mentioned him in her ''thank you'' list (in l4l booklet).

Are they in fight or what? I love his work on lana's songs and I wish she would work with him again lol
