In the wild world of lanaboards, so bright,
    There's a user named Pantene123, a shining light.
With a heart full of secrets and music to share,
Oh, dear Pantene, do tell us, if you dare!

From "Born to Die" to "Ocean Blvd,"
Each album's a journey, a work of art starred.
Oh, dear Pantene123, what do you know?
Will the next musical chapter give us new glow?

Whispers and rumors, we gather each day,
But the right person will stay—oh, what do you say?
A melody of mystery, a lyrical tease,
Could you share a hint, just to put us at ease?

As we dream of new lyrics under starry nights,
We're eager for news that’ll set our hearts alights.
Lana's world keeps evolving, with stories to tell,
In this journey with you, we wish you so well!

So Pantene123, let your secrets unfurl,
As we wait for the news that’ll make our hearts whirl.
Together we’ll swoon, we’ll laugh, and we’ll dream,
So share what you can—after all, we’re a team!

I do agree with the second part of your comment, about the fandom hoping for things that aren’t coming back (like the guitar in BTD and the sonic landscape of UV) but I don’t think it’s wrong to want Lana to change and evolve her musical style. Her first 5 albums are all extremely different from each other, and while COTCC-BB-Ocean Blvd all have a slightly different sound, all three of them sound a bit mix-tapey with a slight lean into folk.

even Paradise, which is considered an extension of BTD, is very different sonically. I don’t wish for her to go back to her old sound, but at the same time I would like her to tackle a different genre, which is why Lasso always appealed to me, some fans didn’t want country, but at least it was a switch up.

some of you guys think that an artist has to change their sound every album to show musical growth when the greatest musicians of all time never left their original genre
every music critic talks about how lana is always reinventing herself and how her work only gets better album by album, a&w was literally considered the BEST song of the 2020s so what are you guys longing for? i feel like this fandom has this nostalgia for something that is NOT coming back, just get over it and appreciate her work that she loves to share with us instead of complaining and remembering her older stuff every single time

This is her most nominated album so far right?
She's for sure getting at least the alternative categories and CN has a chance too.
SOTY and AOTY are really competitive but both A&W and the album got a lot of praise so I can see her getting some there too.

It would be soooo iconic to go from 0 grammy to 5 in a single night

    Lana sweep incoming

    The vocal melody is stunning
The arrangement is simple but it's really good too

fucking love this one. i think this is her songwriting at its peak. she could've kept it going another 3-5 minutes and it wouldn't have overstayed it's welcome for me. it just goes so many places ugh love this one so muchhhhhhhh

@Elle I believe the line is
"The 14-year-old knew 'Froggy Came A-Courtin'"
and at the end I hear
"Just another folk song but anyway,"

There's a certain point the body can't come back from
In one year, we've learned the turn of the mouth
The depth that the chest cavity takes
Chucky was there for three out of three
I was there for the third 'cause I couldn't be There for the one who was closest to me
But I can't say I run when things get hard
It's just that I don't trust myself with my heart
But I've had to let it break a little more
'Cause they say that's what it's for

That's how the light shines in
That's how the light shines in
It's how the light gets in
    Mhm

    [Whistling]

So, everyone was there, tey were standing, laughing
& I'm on the side with my tears streaming down
Something about the clutch of the wrist
He thought mine was his to cough into his mouth
    We've only got hours
& I just can't stop crying, 'cause all of the ways
When you see someone dying, the sea of your days flash in front of you
& you think about who will be with you
    & then there's Donoghue
    Mhm

    Daddy, I miss them
    I'm in the mountains
I'm probably running away from the feelings I get
When I think all the things about them
    Daddy, I miss them
    I'm at the Roadrunner Cafe
I'm probably running away from the thoughts and the day
That have things to do with them, but they say

That's how the light gets in
That's how the light gets in
That's how the light gets in

Think by the third of March, I was cracked open
Finally, the ground was cold, they wouldn't open
Brought by the sunlight of the spirit to pour into me
There's a name for it in Japanese - it's kintsugi
They sang folk songs from the '40s even
    Be-fourteen-year-old new froggy came accordin'
How do my blood relatives know all of these songs?
I don't know anyone left who knows songs that I sing

That’s how the light gets in
That’s how the light gets in

    But, Daddy, I miss them
    I'm at the Roadrunner Cafe
Probably running away from the feelings today
In the snow-capped mountains of the desert
    Daddy, I miss them
    I'm in the mountains
Probably running away, I'm meaning to say
That there's nothing to do except know that
This is how the light gets in

By cracking, the light gets in
It's how the light gets in
That's how the light gets in
That's how the light gets in

    & you're golden
    Oh, oh, oh
Just another folk song, but hey, I try so hard, but that's okay
It's how the light gets in
It's how the light gets in
It's how the light gets in
