fishtail embodies so many eras. AKA, btd, chemtrails, honeymoon, lfl… it gives everything. It’s so charming with the muffled vocals, the heavy production on the chorus, the callback to Jump. I think that song deserved much more love. It’s like the child of all her records. I don’t understand why it isn’t more loved

I'm kind of obsessed with the first side profile one ... I reallyyyy loved the visuals of that shoot but wasn't in love with the photos so made my own 
 
I kind of love the idea of a huge projection of Lana in the sky singing "Love" or something similar above Venice at night time ... Almost Blade Runner style! So pretty I love the Van Gough look and the warm lights

This album came out when I had to leave the States and left my significant other behind. I can't tell how hard California and Love Song hit me when I first listened to them.

We did throw that party eventually, after 3 years.

Someone said that the last three songs are the worst on the album. And I can't agree... The greatest ends with a piano and it feels like the end of summer, so I think it makes a lot of sense that they're piano songs, and they're clearly connected.
 
On Bartender and Happiness is a butterfly, Lana is at the bar shown in the official video for The greatest. Eventually, Lana returns home and in the darkness of her bedroom concludes the album with Hope.
