I love the video! She knew she had no budget and she knew she got a great bod so she made the most of what she got!

    tbh have to disagree lowkey
nothing on but the radio is suchhhhh a bubblegum pop anthem and addison has exactly the bubblegum pop voice needed for it

i love gaga but her voice doesn’t really suit the song imo and that’s probably why it never got released

despite the overly long build up to the lead single, i think this rollout has been perfect!

so excited to hear erotic electronic studio, i haven’t listened to the leaks so i haven’t had the album spoiled for me!

I know that some of the diehard fans tend to feel some type of way about people who think Born To Die is Lana's best album, but screw it I still think it's her best work. It offered Lana's essence distilled in pop form. It was a revolutionary album that pushed the pop landscape in the early 2010s. It was also the album that's closest to my heart since I listened to it during the most tumultuous parts of my formative years.

I'm always gonna be a pop fan first and foremost, so Born To Die truly does something to me whenever I play that album. It's a no-skip album for me, and it's her best work imo.

What are the chances she's gonna cancel the tour midway because of the ticket sales? I heard that it's not going so well in a lot of areas...

The venues are just far too big for her! Her team is either insanely dumb or they're truly setting her up for failure.

Has that even been filmed? Seems like she's on hold until her label recoups funds or until a the David Guetta collab is released

I would like an experimental Lana album where she tackles a genre so far from her discography such as a pure pop album, a country album, a disco album or even a pop-rock album. Her perspective is so unique that I know she's gonna create something groundbreaking if she does something like that.

While people consider Sims 2 as the peak of the franchise, I think Sims 3 was by far the most innovative. Unfortunately, that's also when EA started to milk the franchise more severely. Sims 4 sucks and I will always say that it is a huge regression from Sims 3. With the rumors about Sims 5 not being so hot, I think Sims 3 is probably the last Sims game I'll ever enjoy playing.

I truly do not give af if she hates fans and stans in general. I much prefer this approach vs Taylor's pseudosocial bullshit with her cult.

That's weird.. and i've always said that. FKA twigs seems to be the only one out there to address that itd be inappropriate and weird for a fan to call her tahlia in the streets. Anyway people were right to call out her man but these fans are like 'omg amala i know you this isnt you youre a perfect queen leave the person who you go on trips with and lay with and sit up online with your actual friends<3', when girl you dont know her like that.

Yes. I get we're on a fan forum so in the threads if you're like 'omg elizabeth grant i need you to release this' is whatever but if you see her at a restaurant and you're like 'OMG ELIZABETH GRANT WILL YOU TAKE A PICTURE WITH ME" you should expect to be ignored and escorted away by a member of her team.

I don’t really know where else to voice opinions like these on the internet so I have resorted to good ol lanaboards.

i personally love both attention & paint the town red. I do see them both as sonic advancements for Doja. Everyone saying they sound like planet her/hot pink outtakes are just bandwagon hating at this point. She’s not going to come out sounding like a brand new person like what did they expect when she said she has a “new sound”… anyways

in regards to her controversies as “Scarlet” literally who cares. She basically said fuck you to Stan culture (which I agree with honestly. People making worshiping celebs their identity) and everyone got mad.  I love Doja still and am excited for this era.

i am afraid every decidedly edgy art hoe move she makes only gets me more invested - an entire era/personality/album from a character POV? Give. It. To. Me.
  25. Speed Driving Coconuts liked a post in a topic by vrtvie in MARINA (and The Diamonds)
As a European I never cared about any Americana thing, what resonated with me as a teenager was how boldly Lana and Marina depicted depression, existential and identity crises and tragic love, something that most artists usually dared not to talk about at that time, the radio was mostly either dubstep dance rubbish or Adele-soul and it was also the time when song streaming wasn't a thing so obviously finding new artists was harder, hence we had Tumblr. Marina's and Lana's quotes and images literally ruled that site. They both explored the themes of identity, loneliness, unreciprocated feelings and were able to put all of that under the facade of commercially accessible wise pop records.
